Bluegrass Community and Technical College - Georgetown-Scott County Campus — Local services in Georgetown

They don't have a financial aid clerk around 24/7 as well as a business office. They were told by the other campuses they can't advise certain students who are living in Georgetown or near it like cynthiana or Paris etc because they have to go through the ones in Lexington. Not everyone wants to drive to Lexington. They only have classes that are engineer only for Toyota which is awesome if that is your field, but not many basic core classes or electives like English psychology Math Biology History and so on. We are growing as a town fast and I feel like we can add more classes or another building so students who live in Sadieville, Stamping Ground, Cynthiana, Paris, Georgetown and many more can have a chance at education. Like I said not everyone wants to or can afford to drive to Lexington. I hope maybe putting this review out there...

Marly Jenkins is fantastic! I completed a 2 year degree program for maintenance there and graduated in May 2020. Edited after follow-up on review: there is no financial aid office or bookstore.
