I have purchased at least 4 cars through Long Motors, (Georgetown) never had a problem until recently a new sales guy named Carlos sold a car to me. This car was purchased for my daughter. He mentioned to me that I could buy the car she was interested in, and I would not need full coverage on this vehicle. I remember exactly his words when I had also asked about a BMW, he says for that one you will need full coverage. We went on with choice #1. He let us drive off even without insurance on the vehicle and did not ask for the info close to a month later. Everything is through text messaging. Then a few weeks later he texts me telling me that he could lose his job because of what I had said. All I said was the truth, not my fault he gave false information. And requested for me to get the full coverage on the vehicle. I tried to call the office plenty of times and it rang a few times then it would hang up. I tried to get in contact plenty of times. Until I texted him back and that's when someone called me back and I had to get out of work to get the problem resolved since they had towed my daughter's car at her school. All because of the salesman false info. I was going to go in person the following day since the app was locked and couldn't do payment and the payment was going to be due that next day anyway. I did not get time to do that since it was too late, and they decided to tow the vehicle. I explained to the front desk girl that I tried calling and even called in front of her and she says oh yeah, we have been having technical issues. That's not the end of it, I get everything taken care of and get full coverage and come back to find out I also had to pay the tow charge of $160.00. The front desk girl was also very unprofessional and as soon as she went around to tell her coworkers what I had said. They started talking very unprofessional thinking I couldn't hear anything as I was standing closer to the door, and she did not know I was standing there. Boy I wished I could have recorded this so people can see how shady they are. Although, I do have proof on my phone of the text messages from his personal phone. They did not care. I have never done a bad review in times I should of, I had to...
Read moreI bought a car from long motors almost 3 months ago. It came with a crack in my front windshield which I was ok with as long as they fixed it. Car came with no oil in it. Ran good when I test drove it. After a few days of driving my car started jerking really bad. I drove it out of town about an hour away, when I tried coming back my engine light came on and couldn’t drive my car(keep in mind this is not even a month after having my car). I had to buy spark plugs the next day to get me back to Austin. I went to the mechanic in south Austin ant long motors, and I specifically told him to not touch my spark plugs because I just got them done. The only thing he was supposed to change was my coil pack. I believe they haven’t fixed NOTHING on my car when I got it back it was doing the same thing and engine light came right back on. Called them again to fix my car. 2nd time going up there they said they have to order in my motor. Ever since then I’ve been calling and calling and no answers from both locations during different times of the day. I am paying 17000$ for a vehicle that is not running properly nor have they fixed the windshield they said they would fix in my paper work. I understand the no warranty but at least give me a properly running car and actually fix it if u say u are going to. I called the lady today as of July 23rd that they had told me to check on my motor with . She answered the phone immediately told me she would call me back and never did. This company is not the place to get a vehicle. ALL THEY WANT IS THERE MONEY. The lemon law is real I will say. They don’t care about your car...
Read moreThis dealership are nothing but crooks!! They are liars and manipulators!! They just steal peoples money and play games!! My 23 year old son bought a car from them in February and this is his first car. Everything was fine until he was a few days late on his payment and conveniently the car started stalling out for no reason over and over again. He contacted the dealership and they had no answers. So we took it to 2 different mechanics to have a diagnostic run and they both found nothing wrong with the car. Alternator, battery and starter all have perfect charge so they were both confused!! The dealership said my son could bring it to them almost an hour away and leave it with them. They would need a day possibly two in order to fully look over the car and diagnose the issue. My son, his stepfather and myself have all contacted the dealership and they keep saying we only have the Lojax installed to be able to locate the vehicle but we don’t have anything installed that allows us to turn off your car off you are behind on the payments. This is a bunch of lies!! I’ve been driving the car myself when it just shuts off!! The car has shut off on the Highway!! Do y’all know how dangerous this issue is?? Someone could get seriously hurt or killed!!! Please someone help my son get help with this fraudulent dealership!! Who can help him?? The Better Business Bureau is no help and most attorneys won’t help because of the whole lemon law!! What options does he have?? This is an agregeous injustice that needs...
