Stores clean, showers were decent with the common issues of a public shower. Staff was cordial but not really friendly, like I’m here at work and you came to my place of employment but nothing more or less (disappointing as I tried to engage a few of the staff to no avail). Some didn’t even acknowledge me when I stood by the restaurant counters looking at food and ended up talking to myself when I tried to engage them. I realized later when the shower attendant didn’t speak English that the other encounters may have been dry or non engaging bc of a language barrier. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not sure how that works if you’re in customer service and dealing with mainly English speakers (management may want to reconsider that)

Walked into a clean store but the parking lot was quite filthy, alot of variety with souvenirs, novelty items, & jewelry and as other reviews mentioned (things are a bit pricey) paid $16.00 for a pair of kid troll sunglasses …

Showers were clean at glance but as with most public showers the people who clean them seem to not have the right equipment to get the corners and walls free of hair and other debris which lead to mold and horrible looking grout and tile and me showering with the previous guest personal items (I wear shower shoes and use my own towels bc I just don’t trust the cleaning abilities of truck stop employees. You’d think store owners would want their investment to last but I guess not). A better cleaning system that includes bleach, mildew remover, and/or comet would help but I guess not.

My pictures shows little balls of debris and the filthy corners with trash and unknown items …not sure what the red stuff is (maybe cleaning solution) as it was on other areas of the bathroom also. I stepped out to take a pic (the white stuff is my sugar scrub which washes down the drain as I’m showering).

I had to sign a list after purchase of my shower…the list that required my name, company name, time in, and time out; when I asked why (in Spanish) the attendant didn’t know why my info was needed (I presumed to make company drivers using the shower less prone to bad behavior in the shower). 🤷🏽‍♀️Who knows. There’s also no shelf to hold your bottles of shampoo/conditioner or body wash.

They have 4 restaurants to choose from(including Quiznos subs (😳shocker bc I thought Quiznos were all permanently closed).

I was hoping for a better experience but atlas 3...

When you spend the night at a truck stop, you expect to be able to wake up and enter the 24 hour store to use the restroom, get your coffee and tacos in the morning. This was not the case when I woke up this morning and climbed down out of my truck. I noticed a crowd of people as I approached the front doors of the building, but continued on as I thought they were just having a smoke break or something. As I neared the entrance, I was informed by one of the employees that they were closed, with no explanation, only that they SHOULD be opening within the next few minutes. Everyone gathered was waiting to get tacos or coffee to begin their day. I had a delivery in Austin, there was nowhere in between this stop and the next that I could go to use the bathroom or get a coffee, not one that would fit my truck, so this was inconvenient to say the least. The next few minutes turned into over a half hour later. Several people decided to cut their losses and leave, apparently the tacos weren't worth the wait time to be late for work. I overheard bits of employee conversation about there being no coffee and some other things going on. The employee guarding the door was asked why they were closed, the answers given were vague like they weren't inside, so they weren't sure what was going on. When asked if someone could use the bathroom, they were told no one was allowed inside, and given the justification that the employee themself wasn't even able to use the bathroom. If the overnight or morning staff didn't do their job and get the coffee started or whatever the issue seemed to be, then management needs to figure out the issue and get it fixed. This is seriously poor management to close a store that is supposed to be 24 hours where truck drivers, and other patrons can't get in to use the facilities or get a cup of coffee. No explanation, just left to stand out in the cold until they got their act together. Nearly 0800 before anyone was allowed in the building, no idea how long the others had been out there.

Tacos were ok, nothing to write home about. The sauce, however, was amazing! Coffee was good, but not the best. No half and half, not many options for cream. Prices are way over the top for everything.

Seems I'll be sticking to Love's or one of the other truck stops further up 35 after...

This is the experience I had when I stopped by yesterday. I went into the women’s restroom to use the restroom. When I came out of the restroom there was a male janitor sweeping the floors inside the women’s restrooms. There was a few women in the restroom still using the restroom. Mind you when I 1st went in the restroom there wasn’t any signs up where the janitors usually put up to let the customers know they are cleaning the restrooms. So I washed my hands and went outside I’m still looking for the sign because I thought to myself maybe I missed it or didn’t see it and went in to use the restroom without noticing there was a sign up, but NO i didn’t see a sign anywhere. So I approach the manager her name was Maricela last name started with in O. Instead of fixing the situation and telling the male janitor to get out of the women’s restroom until all the women are out and make sure he put a sign she replied in Spanish and said “well if the women want to be in the restroom while he’s in there that’s their problem not mine!”So I replied to her in Spanish as well and said “ma’am that isn’t right for that man to be in there he did NOT have a cleaning sign up and there’s women still using the restroom!” The manager did nothing about it made me feel like I was being a Karen and just complaining about the situation. Where I know for a fact that isn’t right period!! So Me or my little girl will never go back to this place again !!! If I could give this a 0 stars I would! That manager Maricela doesn’t have good management...

make people pay $12 a night. There is security in a suv who drives around, but i haven't seen him do anything. CONS: - stupid long process to book parking online because texting code doesn't work. - QR code doesn't work either. - a long walk to the gas station. - no marked priced. - mold in corners of bathroom stalls. - messed up parking lot with missing concrete. - people not even parking in parking spot. - people speed through parking lot way too fast. - extremely overpriced items being that nothing is marked. PROS: - Always parking available - A bathroom available 24/7 Security at least enforce parking if you are going to cruise around with big flashy Light. I could understand paying for a reserved spot, but a whole parking lot is just greedy and stupid. I will be one of the drivers who will not be parking here ever again. Hopefully, they lose enough business to shut down.
