I was married at this place on September 10,2022. There was trouble from the beginning of meeting the lady in charge of the kitchen,Chef Tee, who had a very nasty attitude and changed the details of what I previously arranged with Mr. Keith. It rained so the arrangement I made to have the wedding on the lawn I had to cancel. Previous to making this arrangement we were going to marry inside the building but Mr. Keith said it would be ok to use the lawn. So on the day of my weddings it rained so when they tried to set up for inside he told them we couldn’t marry inside the building. They made my fiancé clean the pavilion (on his wedding day) and made us have to scramble to get chairs for outside because as I explained earlier we cancelled outside décor because of rain. So after initially telling us we could bring alcohol when we first booked facility, a week before our wedding, they restricted us then made us pay them for THEIR bar in which did not have prior to us booking the facility. They told me basically if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else and it was two weeks before my wedding so I had to go with whatever they said. We paid $500 for a bar mix special that was supposed to be served to our guests but after 20min they claim it was gone. My husband and I did get ANY NEITHER DID THE MAJORITY OF OUR GUEST!! They threw away our charger plates that was the wedding decor and plates of food left for my husband and I. We NEVER got a chance to taste the food we paid for. The staff either stole or threw away my guest gifts that were in gold envelopes in a box and VERY hard to miss!! They tried to keep our bottles of champagne, but I returned to retrieve them they asked could they have some! I had difficulties on this day I’ll admit I was late but it doesn’t negate the way I was treated by the staff and management of this facility. I don’t recommend anyone using this place...
Read moreI think some of these reviews are a bit dramatic. We played here this morning and after reading these reviews my expectations were so low that I was pleasantly surprised. I think this is a great course for beginner/average golfers. There was some tall grass and some of the greens were in need of repair, but overall the course was playable and enjoyable. in fact, i played my best round of golf here! There were some challenging holes and some easier ones that were a breath of fresh air. The course was overall very pretty and had nice winding paths through a cute neighborhood. Some spots in the concrete path were bumpy due to tree roots but that’s every course i’ve been to. The clubhouse was so pretty and looked newly renovated. bathrooms were clean with nice tile and beautiful fixtures. The bar was stunning as well. One thing that did stand out to me at this course was the customer service. I have been to plenty of courses where pro shop employees turn their nose up at you and act like you don’t belong but the man working in this pro shop was so kind and absolutely delightful. He made sure we were aware that that grass was not in the best shape first thing and then continued to greet us with a smile and kind gestures. he let us know they were low on staff and to just call the clubhouse if we needed food, drinks, or anything. when we got done the boys taking the carts were super kind and offered to clean the trash out of our cart and take care of it for us. this may be standard everywhere but the genuine kindness offered by these people was noticeable. So overall, yes the grass could use some work. but it’s clear they are aware and doing what they can to make it better. What stuck with me the entire round of golf was the kindness and sincerity of the staff here. being treated with respect and genuine warmness makes it...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews but this needs to be talked about. I am by no means a snob when it comes to conditions of the course but this place is borderline unplayable. Booked the tee time morning of because of last minute plans. Only booked it here because it was a Saturday and everywhere else was booked yet this place was wide open, which should have been the first red flag. Right after booking I realized not everyone was gonna make it in that time so I called right back and asked if we could move it back 30 mins. The very nice lady who answered the phone said it’s no worries it doesn’t matter when you show up, which was another red flag. We paid the highway robbery of $55 and got on with our round.
HOLE 1:After teeing off 2/3 people in the group lost their ball in the middle of the fairway because it hadn’t been cut in weeks and was riddled with weeds (This is the case for next couple holes)
CART: As we approached the 1st “green” our cart ran out of battery. I called the Pro Shop and the lady said she would get someone out there. 25 minutes go by so I call again and she admits that she had forgotten and told me she was THE ONLY PERSON WORKING (IT WAS 1PM ON A SATURDAY). 15 minutes later a cart boy does show up and give us a new cart.
GREENS: The greens are absolutely unplayable. half of every green is uneven sand and is filled with weeds.
I can’t speak for the back 9 because we determined the course was simply not possible to actually play golf on. The course does have a nice interesting layout but if they want to remain in business they seriously need to sit down and figure...
