Publix Pharmacy at Harbor Point — Local services in Gifford

Don't trust them! Go to the Walgreens or CVS across the street...go anywhere else other than here to fill your Rx. They don't care and they are incredibly inefficient, rude and dishonest! They confirmed via telephone, that they had plenty of a drug we desperately needed. When we got there an hour and a half after calling, the girl behind the cash register said they were out of the drug, that she had filled many orders that day for it, and they had run out. In fact, she argued with us saying we called longer than an hour and a half ago and they had run out in the meantime after she told us they had 'plenty available'. When we asked how she ran out so quickly, a pharmacist took over and corrected the lie.. She said the other girl had been looking in the wrong place when she confirmed they indeed had the much needed drug. I understand mistakes can happen, but transparency and honesty, especially in a medical situation, is NOT acceptable. AN APOLOGY would have been appropriate, not a dishonest push back. How about taking responsibility for the mistake instead?! Also, while the other girl was searching to see if they indeed had the drug, the girl that said they ran out of it, loudly said 'NEXT', as we were patiently waiting for their answer. Don't go there. They are rude and uncaring. We went to Walgreen across the street and they were professional, efficient and friendly. We should have gone there in the first place. It's a grocery store....
