Fry's — Local services in Gilbert

I was at this new Fry’s today and I witnessed a manager named Melissa have a conversation with a lady who was trying to buy some seltzers and Melissa told this lady that she can’t buy the alcohol because she had kids with her. I’m not sure what the law is, but regardless The way Melissa handled it was terrible. She could’ve handled It a completely different way and had a completely different outcome. the lady was so upset and mad and I don’t blame her. It makes me think that Does Melissa treat her employees that way? And if that’s the case, then you’re gonna have a lot of Unhappy customers. On another note, I’m not too thrilled with how you enter On either side. You have to like go throughThe checkout area to get in properly and then when you leave, you have to go back Through the store and exit. Other than that, the store is great! Love that this fry’s has everything you could need. Plus it’s soo close to my home but my experience 2 times I’ve come in were not great. Specifically with one cashier. She was rude to me 2 different times. It was a middle aged woman with a couple gold teeth. The first time she told me to go to self check out even though she was open. The second time she said the gift card I had was fake. It was a e-gift card and I advised her it wasn't and when the assistant manager came over she started telling him it a scam gift card and not real. He ignored her and said it’s a digital gift card. When I asked him are you going to say something to her accusing me of using a fake gift card. He said no let’s just get you check out. I haven’t been back since. I’ll stick to the fry’s on higley and baseline. It’s a little further but at least don’t get accused of trying...

I just called this Fry's and tried placing an order for a cake and the lady at the bakery told me she can't take my order because she doesn't have any paper to write it down. Well thanks a lot my kids 1st birthday cake fell through from another baker at last minute and now I can't get this lady to get a piece of paper to write my order down. If you don't like your job then leave and find something you do enjoy. I like to treat people the way I want to be treated. I always go above and beyond for my patient's. It's sad to see society today living with no morals or respect for themselves much less other people. We all have good and bad days but that should never interfere with customer service....
