prices are outrageous. and they refuse a lot of donations. the guy running it has no idea what he is doing. this store used to be a good place to look for some neat stuff at a fair price that made you feel good. now you go in there and you just feel upset because of the high prices. better off just buying new, at least you can return it if something is wrong unlike thrifty shopper. I really don't see why people still go there. thrifty shopper doesn't understand if the prices are lower they will sell more items and most likely make more money, have more customers, and be helping more people survive in this high priced society we live in. oh but its for charity right. so "help" the homeless, screw the lower income working people, and cater to the upper income people. gee I have an idea how about help bothe the homeless and the lower income working people and lower your darn prices. this place just wants to...

I used to love this store but over the last few months the prices have been jacked up to ridiculous levels. I have seen many items that are priced HIGHER than you can get them brand new in a retail store. I understand that costs are rising for overhead items like rent and utilities but it feels like you are taking advantage of inflation news when you get all of your inventory for free. Not only that but they changed the discounts so now there are only 2 color tags on sale instead of 3 like there used to be. Get your prices back in line for a thrift store selling used items and you will sell more. As of now, it is a waste of time for me to drive to Girard for stuff I can buy new at TJ Maxx or...

Well I definitely love city Mission thrifty shopper. I have found so many great things here for my home and my kitchen. For instance I got a brand new popcorn popper still in the box for five dollars. And when I get to the checkout it turns out it’s 50% off win-win! They follow the COVID-19 guidelines and everyone wears masks and social distancing is in practice. But the best thing about city Mission is they offered to pray for you they have a prayer box and I was crying one day because my sister just died so they prayed with me right out loud in the aisle for five minutes and other people joined and it was wonderful.
