Dollar General — Local services in Girard

Went here to pick up a couple items rather than driving the extra 4 miles to go to Virden. It was a mistake. Two women working. The younger one was manning the register, but someone was purchasing multiple gift cards, which takes quite a while. The older woman working came up to the register, clearly saw the long line that had formed and, instead of opening the second lane (per DG Corporate policy), walked away instead. This resulted in multiple people with only a couple items each waiting an extended period of time...

The prices are very reasonable, with a good quality and variety of products. They may not have all the brand choices that larger stores offer, but they do offer name brand items for about the same price as most stores and their house brands which are cheaper. usually your waiting 10 mins for somebody to get to the register cause there in the back of the store doing something while the door is dinging away with people comeing in the store it's one of the worse dg's around the turnover rate there is prolly 90% lmao can't keep nobody working there hint gotta be a...
