Dollar General — Local services in Glen Alpine

I go to this Dollar General often, but I also have ulcerative colitis. It’s a medical condition.. and when it happens to act up.. I can’t wait to get to a bathroom. I have to go then.. it flared up yesterday while I was shopping.. I explained and asked if I could use the restroom and was told no that it was out of order.. about 6 months ago I asked and it was out of order.. I am 53 and I am not that naive. I manage a restaurant. I could not imagine telling someone they couldn’t use my bathroom.. I’m not too lazy to clean it or fill it up with toilet paper and paper towels.. needless to say I didn’t make it home.. I think this is unprofessional and uncaring.. and if that’s all you think of your customers I should be ashamed...

The employee is a manager at the store were top notch. I went to two other dollar generals this weekend to do a return, and they wouldn’t do it/couldn’t… It was very frustrating because I didn’t have time to drive all the way back to Glen Alpine until today and the manager even though it was a difficult return did it with a smile on her face while the other employees were very helpful towards me. Also, I would recommend this store 10 out of 10. Thank you for returning my money back for the products that I bought and the coupons were an applied $50 is a lot of money in today’s economy and the other employees at other stores acted like it...

This weekend is Summer Clearance Sale so my wife and I just went to shop the sale. Supposed to be Green Dot items are Buy1 get 2 free, which means most expensive pay at full price other lesser priced (2) for free...not a chance..thier mathematics and factoring at the register almost would have made perfect sense to a monkey doing a math problem and the manager although trained seemingly tediously in monkey math wasn't helpful and less than pleasant when explaining thier pricing to my wife.
