was kinda shocked that my lasagna order was bagged in such a small container for 13$ came with a “salad” woohoo, that i could’ve taken or left but the amount of salad was comical. i thought with such a small container of lasagna surely the little tin was packed as other restaurants do with toppings so much that they stick to the lid and that it must be so delish that you won’t be overly concerned that it is such a small container. NOPE…. upon opening i was really shocked with the kiddie portion in it, but it must be really tasty, right? NOPE, the cheese is hard and stuck baked hard and dry all around the little mound so much so you cant peel it off the container and the under noodles are stuck to the container as well. the noodles aren’t al dente nor done they are hard and rubbery but it has to be delish, hmmm NOPE NOPE NOPE, it’s horrible horrible horrible ! worse than any old school hamburger helper its so SO dry and I’m not sure what kind of meat is in it but its tough and dry, no real sauce to mention theres no real “lasagna” aspects to it, no ricotta, cottage cheesy vibes, no gooey goodness. the meat has the taste of basic plastic dollar bottle of Italian seasoning shaken on it for flavor but its not a good taste at all. The little chuck of chewy bread has a horrible taste as well and it doesn’t lend itself to be able to be chewed up in order to swallow it. I did my level best to TRY to consume part of the 13$ meal but only managed abt 50cents worth . My son and gdaughter has had the spaghetti some time back and they both got sick from it and several family and friends have eaten the pizzas and other things and say they are awful and pizzas greasy. Doogies was ALWAYS spot on and never once did a meal from them ever go wrong. their baked spaghetti was half the price and the larger dinner containers were FULL usually 2 meals in one and a whole hoagy bun for garlic bread and it was ALWAYS delicious. I had it for years actually almost every single week, their subs and pizzas were ALWAYS fresh and overly endowed you never left hungry and always took home extra. As with doogies the foxhole seems to have remained the clean restaurant appeal but the staff was sort of bland this evening as well with lack of personality and hospitality. we were so supportive that our friend who owned doogies retired because all he got done was pour his life into the restaurant and he deserved to have some time to enjoy his senior years but were afraid that our little town would lose him and the business/family would go away and we need more life and eating choices in our little town and it saddens me that this is whats become of what he. established here. You will never find a cleaner more sufficient, timely and fresh meal and environment and for very economical means than doogies was. But, time moves on and this meal has sealed my decision as to whether to support our local restaurant or not. The Fox family has been a great one for our area, I have grown up with them and been friends with the sisters and was very optimistic with Randy taking the reigns here and I couldn’t have been happier for Randy and his family and just knew from the values and all that we would be so supportive but come on Randy, try the lasagna yourself, freezer lasagna from the grocery store even as bad as it is is far better and more correct as to what lasagne actually is. And 13$ for a child size portion is ridiculous and for folk on a fixed income who has to watch every penny budgeting every meal into our equation and for the rare occasions of getting to eat “out” this to be the outcome it’s disgraceful. if it were portion proper and palatable thats one thing but not for what i received this evening. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

When decided to try Fox Hole pizza as it was a new restaurant in our area. Previously it was Doogie pizza and subs. While we weren't fans of Doogies we are definitely fans of Fox Hole. The pizza if fresh and very delicious. It is a huge upgrade from its predecessor. Pricing is fair for the value of the food. They are quick and courteous with their service. We will definitely be repeat customers. Bring cash for tips as they currently don't have a POS terminals that allow for tips to be added

I ordered a Stromboli and specifically requested no marinara sauce. I didn’t notice until I drove 25 minutes home back home. Very disappointed in how my food came out. I called to see if there’s anything they could do to make it right. They abruptly said no and didn’t even try to resolve the solution. Won’t be back.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews — there are often many reasons a place might have an off day. But this one deserves it. I’ve rarely had such a nasty spaghetti bolognese.

At the Fox Hole, they somehow managed to mess up the one dish that should be difficult to ruin even for a mediocre cook in NC. What I got was overcooked spaghetti swimming in watery, red liquid — not even a proper tomato sauce — served in a cheap aluminum pie tin and topped with plastic-tasting cheese. It wasn’t baked; it was soggy, bland, and gross.

I’ve traveled a lot and eaten my share of bad meals, but bolognese is supposed to be the safe choice. Here, even hungry, I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Avoid this place, or at least don’t make the mistake of ordering the “baked” spaghetti.

They should be ashamed of...

I really hope someone at the restaurant reads this review and considers changing the crust. I just bought a house over here and this is the closest pizza place by me; so I really wanted to love it, but I was disappointed. I am not a pizza snob by any means, but what really makes a pizza special is good crust. I don’t mean this to be rude, but the quality of the crust is like what you’d get in a frozen pizza at the grocery store. If the crust was good, I could see myself eating here once a week. If the crust doesn’t change, it’s not worth coming back. If they ever change their crust I will update my review. Please please please consider making your crust better, you could gain so many regular...
