I am new to the area and I have 3 kitties. One has diabetes and gets sick from time to time. Needing to establish a new vet, I read through my fair share of reviews to choose which one to go to. My diabetic kitty was sick and having diarrhea throughout my house so I brought him here. Dr Nelson was very kind, he did a very thorough job and thoroughly explained all results to me, I never felt like he was rushing and he listened to me, which is important to me. Blood work was done, I brought a stool sample to test, he changed his insulin to a different brand, gave him an antibiotic. Everything luckily came back normal. However, the bill was insanely high. very very pricey. It cost me about $900 for the visit, no radiological tests were done either which is fine. but for the bill to be this high, I just cant afford that anytime my cat needs something. so, for this reason I am leaving a review, because it would be nice to know prices of services before going in with your pet and being unaware of what your bill is going to be.
