Well so far I canât really review the mattress that we bought, because we are still waiting for the correct mattress to be delivered. Our story starts with us coming into the main warehouse showroom to pick out a new mattress for our RV. We walked in and Al was there helping another customer but asked us what we needed. Told him that we saw a video on you tube about how great their mattress was and had to get one. He pointed out the three different mattresses that came in queen short. As we walked over to test them out Al said that we didnât want the Dreamfoam Hybrid or SIGNATURE HYBRID that we should get the AURORA LUXE. Yes the most expensive one is the only one that Al says that would work well for us. The wife was kinda surprised and disappointed with his attitude but we wanted to get a very comfortable mattress. Tried of sleeping on original RV mattress with a foam topper, so we just let his attitude slide. We were told that the new mattress would be 12â tall so we thought that it would fit in our RV bedroom. The mattress was delivered in about a week so happy to try it out put it into the Rv, wow that thing was so tall definitely not 12 inches. Was too tall for us to sit on the bed without hitting our heads on a cabinet over the bed area. This mattress needed to be taken back. With Thanksgiving Day being tomorrow I checked the hours for Black Friday on google. It showed that the showroom at the wear house was open at 9am. Drove the RV over to exchange the to big mattress only the place was closed. Wait for an hour thinking that maybe they might open at 10. Just about ten drives in Lori happened to be there to drop off some stuff. Told me that they were not going to be open today. She was super nice took about twenty minutes out of her day calling a few managers trying to help me out. No luck so had to come back on Monday morning. Lucky was able to make the exchange with Berry. Told him what we had been through and how we happened to pick the too big mattress. He said that thereâs no way that mattress was 12â it 13.5â and Al should have known that. Or had measured it I know an inch and a half does not sound like a lot in an RV bed under a cabinet it means not hitting your head. I get home from the showroom pick up the mail and find a thank you card from Al requesting that I do a google review. Here it is. I will update this post after I get our correct size mattress, and have a chance to test it out.
Update is not good news still had not received my order and emailed with no response called the showroom no one ever answered I have left messages and finally got a call back from sheila. Told me that she would find out what is happening with my order and call me right back. Three hours later no response so I called her back and no answer. I drive over there to talk with her. She said I saw that you had called back but still havenât gotten an update on my order. It would had been nice if she would have called me to tell me what she was waiting for information. Just wanted to get my money back have wasted enough time with this company. She said that I would have to talk with Al or Berry to get a refund because they work on commission and he would have to do the refund. I asked what that had to do with my money should come back from the company and they can work out their commission after I get satisfied. Asked if she could call Doug who is the main manager of sales said she tried to, but no answer. Lucky she did finally get a hold of Doug and I got my money back after waiting a half hour in the store.
Long story short, we shouldâve left after Al was first treating us badly at the beginning itâs our own fault shouldâve just turned around and walked out and never mess around with this company very poor customer service. Never ever again hopefully this helps somebody else not waste...
Read moreThe whole pickup experience at the Brooklyn Bedding factory leaves a lot to be desired. The gentleman at the store where I purchased my mattress told me to call the store when I arrive at the factory and they will call someone to bring the mattress out.
Fast forward a week, my mattress is ready and he calls me and says to go to the factory and drive to where it says "retail" and they will help you. I drove there and there was no one there. So I went around the corner to where it says "customer pick up" and walked in and there was no one there either. I then walked inside the factory and talked to two gentleman to ask where I pick up my bed. They said to drive around to the other side and a woman named Melissa will help you.
So I drove all the way around and talked to Melissa. She said she will make a call and have someone meet me at "customer pick up" where I just was. She called and no one answered. She said to drive over there and wait and they will come help me but it could be a 5-10 minute wait. So I drove back to where I was originally and backed up my truck. Waited about 5 minutes and a gentleman came out with my bed (one of the two guys I spoke to earlier). He asked where I wanted it and I said in my truck bed. He asked about the truck bed topper and if I wanted to take it off. I said I'll leave it for now as it should fit underneath it. He said "Fine but if it doesnt fit then you are going to have to lift the mattress yourself the second time." Pretty rude of him. He then lifted it up and it fit perfectly. I drove away with a bad taste in my mouth. I dont know about the quality of the bed yet but you would think if you are spending $2k on a bed, the customer service would be a bit better. Suggestion: Have clear signage on where to pick up and a phone number to call so that you don't have to drive around talking to...
Read moreUPDATE Still the best and most comfortable mattress. A little pricey but it is head and shoulders above my roommates ghost bed or whatever it's called. Anyway I used the financing option and had I paid off my bed in less than 90 days, it would have been a great purchase. I can't lower my rating more than 1 star based on my own stupidity. I am only lowering it because I feel like the financing wasn't clearly explained and my bed has doubled in cost to about 2400.
I read a lot of other online reviews of other different "colored" and "spooky" named mattresses. I was going with either a ghostbed, a purple bed or tuft and needle. I went into two local manufacturers in Arizona. Tuft and needle and Brooklyn Bedding to try them out.
I ended up going with the Brooklyn Bedding Wall Street luxury foam bed. It's a hybrid so it has some coils. If you want a bed for anything other than just sleeping, stay away from foam or latex only beds. She might like it, but you won't.
Ana was very knowledgeable about the different qualities of each mattress. She wasn't even disgusted by the classless way that I "tested" the bounce of the bed. She was very friendly and I should have invited her over to see it all setup. đ Along with their exchange policy, I see no reason why you wouldn't at least try one of these beds first?
**after my review, as a thank you, I got two of their pillows free and they gave me $đŻ off. Will update after putting it all to...
