First time visitor turned into lifetime customer! I'm super shy at playing instruments in front of people (just learning the bass) but the owner was super cool and spent tons of time showing me different options. HUGE selection and great place. They even have a massive T-Rex (how cool is that???). The owner is knowledgeable, enthusiastic about helping, and not your common nose-in-the-air music snob. Usually places are way over priced but not Hell Creek. The demon lords have slashed prices in the name of Rock and Roll. We passed through Glendive on a trip with the hope of doing a fossil dig while here. Unfortunately, we got rained out. Obviously, we were disappointed but decided to keep our chins up and explore what shops are available in the area. I'm so glad we did because if we hadn't, I wouldn't have found this place and wouldn't have met Steve. What a cool store! You could look around for hours at the amazing selection. And what a cool guy Steve is! Besides being very friendly and knowledgeable, he gave us some really awesome tips on where we might find some agates and fossils on our own. Definitely make your way there if you can. I can't recommend it...

This is by far the most incredible music shop in all of Montana. Maybe all of the Rocky Mountain area. The coordination with the artists, the custom guitars, the coordinated signing events, these are all things that I wouldn't expect in a town of a hundred thousand people.
