Dollar General — Local services in Glenville

Ever since they got the self checkout out in, you don’t see people at the register. I just left from there and they had their register closed and only the self checkout open. They had a line of people and even came up front to go to their office but didn’t bother to open up and assist people. I had to help an elderly lady with self checkout after she attempted to get the workers attention but she was ignored. I honestly wouldn’t have even bought my things from here if my cats weren’t so picky they expect a certain food. This shouldn’t be how a store is ran. They usually have most of what I need with regard to pantry items and household needs, but once in a while have almost none of my personal choices. Prices are decent. Once in a while there are great sales on clothing. The one thing that gets me aggravated here are the flat carts of boxes littering the isles. Its like they have no stock room so they line up these big rolling carts all across the back wall making it nearly impossible to get products... without playing...

I'm so tired of having to come in here. Today was the last straw. Their registers have been malfunctioning for months now, they never have enough people working, and there's always all kinds of stuff everywhere. Plus, good luck trying to use the coupons that THEY give to you at the register. They never work. Last time...
