Dollar General — Local services in Glyndon

I went to this Dollar General and I was disappointed in the staff member that checked us out. She seemed a little confused and told us randomly that there was limits on cleaning supplies, when there were no signs. She then put the products behind the counter, not back on the shelves because I had to run back in the store later as I forgot something, and noticed the products were placed behind the counter. I believe she wanted them for store use, which I understand, but don't make up limits on items just because of that. We didn't have anything in excess, just 2-3 items, but yet she said there was no limit on the hand sanitizers they had there, which seems very odd to me. The whole situation was just a turn off when all the other Dollar Generals in the area had no limits on anything, just randomly seemed to have one when it came to certain supplies. I am really fed up with that because there is no need to make up random rules and regulations, there needs to be signs up that tell you limits on things so you don't waste your time in there...

This is definitely the best Dollar General in the area. I always stop by on my way through town. The store is always well stocked and faced. The staff is always amazingly friendly and helpful when I stop in.

Compared to a lot of Dollar Generals in the area... this is one of the few that doesn't look war-torn! I never see any carts on the floor that aren't being currently worked by an employee... and everything looks nice and well maintained.

If you walk in... it has that "new store" look. Everything is pulled forward and looks full. This is also the best store when they have clearance sales... as they take the time to move stuff up front to look through.

We have been there 2 times in the last few months, and both times the “manager” has been the most unpleasant woman. This weekend she was ringing us up. She rang up 4 12 packs of soda, we said we only had 3 and she gave us a dirty look, pushed some buttons at the register, and continued to charge us for 4. We went back and talked to a different employee. and she was super kind and fixed the “manager's” mistake. The manager needs to be fired ASAP. She's so rude and ripping off...
