Sully's Superette — Local services in Goffstown

I've shopped here a couple of times while I was in the area. I try to bring everything from home while visiting, but sometimes I just forget that one thing that I end up going to Sully's for. There is a lot that is packed into this store and they really do try to give you a variety to choose from. However, sometimes it doesn't quite make sense how the store is set up. Items are categorized differently here I suppose. One time I had visited to pick up one thing and I decided we would just have a quick in between meal of hotdogs for snack before dinner. But they had the hotdogs in 2 different places in the store. They had a deli type hotdog down their Main Street isle and then they had Ballpark Frank's in the actual deli section. It was somewhat backwards. Anyway, the people there are for the most part friendly. Everyone seems to know everyone here. The isles are a bit smaller than in a regular grocery store and it's not uncommon to see workers and customers conversing together about their day or week. The prices are a bit more than you would find in other stores but the markup appears to be fairly consistent across the board here. Great...

Super overpriced, expired goods, rude/incompetent employees. Went in one day for a large amount of pastries. After ordering the second pastry (of about 20-30), the person behind the counter quickly bagged up the two pastries, put them on the counter and went back to talking to the other geniuses behind the counter who couldnt be bothered to help the other customers. Ended up leaving the pastries on the counter and going to Hannafords for a better selection, better prices and employees who werent insulted by the presence of customers. And people wonder why small/local businesses cant compete...

Just went in to grab two 2 liters of rootbeer and the cachier Wendy coughed into her hand and with that same hand a second later grabbed each of my drinks by the mouth piece and moved them over and again lifted them with her cough hand and put them in a bag. I dont write many reviews but that was one of the most disgusting things that could happen when it comes to handling food or drink. She then preceeds to massage her throat as if she yas some serious coughing problem. Whatever she has i don't want and im not one to cause a scene in public but chances are these are going...
