My husband and I came here to take a look at bird accessories and possibly a new riding lawn mower. While they didn't have any bird items I was looking for, they did have a variety of reasonably priced mowers both at the location and within their online inventory. My husband spoke with a friendly male associate about purchasing one in the near future when he received his bonus from work. The man told us about their store credit card, telling us repeatedly that it would only take a few minutes.
Now... my husband's credit isn't the best and we've been in the process of repairing it for some time. We knew that there was a chance he would be declined, but my husband still decided to move forward with filling out an application for a store card at checkout. The lady who "helped" us had absolutely no idea what she was doing and couldn't answer even the most basic of questions... such as "If we made a down payment on a mower and paid the remainder with the store card, would we be eligible for a discount? Would our interest rate improve?" No straight answers.
Anyway, she input my husband's information into the system which only took a few minutes. At the end, she handed us a pamphlet and said "You have to call the number on the back. They might need you to provide more information." Weird, considering when you apply for any store credit card you're usually told right then and there if you are accepted or denied. This turned into us calling the number and trying to get someone on the phone for answers for the next half hour... just for the phone representative to tell us that he was denied and that the lady in Tractor Supply knew that. Instead, she sent us on a wild goose chase and wasted our time for absolutely no reason at all.

Read moreThey never ever have anything you need in stock even when the website shows that it's in stock or available for pickup. Call them on the phone,,, Oh yeah we have that. When you get there , Not there. Order something online to pickup and they cancel your order shortly after!! I have been there probably 5-6 times In the last couple months. Not once did they have what I was looking for . And I'm talking about everyday garden variety stuff like soil, seed, straw etc, stuff that even Walmart has stocked at all times. I have also ordered items online to pickup and within the day my order is cancelled every single time. No reason is given for the cancellation. Very unprofessional!! And on top of it when you call they lie to you and say they do have it, when it's a lie. I called once and lady on the phone said yeah we have that without a hesitation. Went there and the stuff I asked about was an outside item. No way she had time to go outside and check. They just lie to you because they want you in the store to buy their overpriced clothes and knick -knacks. Don't waste your time with these clowns at the Goldsboro store. This place is a joke. They never have anything in stock EVER!! I will not be going back to this crapshoot of a place ever again!!! If you need something that you can't find at Lowe's or Walmart just buy it on Amazon even if its more expensive, because you will never get it from...
Read moreJust rude. Had some questions about a third party delivery and customer service at the store basically told me kick rocks I can’t even look at it. Had he taken 2 minutes to go over delivery with me we could’ve seen I had made a mistake (not at all their fault but I placed order online and was having issues which is why I went in to talk to a rep in the first place). After blowing me off and basically telling me I wouldn’t see it today either way, I get a notification for delivery 45 minutes later and now it’s too late to make any delivery modifications. Products are great, delivery is going well (they’re doing what the order says to do) but customer service was so rude in store they’ve extended this issue for me far past what it needed to be.
