Marcum's Nursery — Local services in Goldsby

Absolutely amazing experience! They have a great selection of plants-I found every flowering plant and bush that I was looking for. I had a very sweet and knowledgeable lady help me out. I am temporarily handicapped after a motor vehicle accident and Jamie approached me to offer help. She pushed my cart around and accompanied me to all the plants I was wanting. She even cut me a deal on some shrubs that "needed a good home", afterward she even loaded my car! Concerning price, I honestly haven't been to many nurseries to compare to. But compared to online nurseries they were about the middle of the road. A couple reputable sites were cheaper and a couple were more expensive. Even if the prices are a bit more, I would gladly pay it for the exceptional customer service...

I’ve been dealing with Marcums lately, trying to plant some trees on my property. They have been out 3 separate times and have been plain ole awesome and efficient. They crews are fantastic. Today, however, was even a step above. They planted the trees, perfectly, like always; but I had a dog that dig up a portion of my foundation. I got home today, and the crew used some of their extra dirt and filled it in!!! They didn’t have to do that! In a world where we rarely think of the little things, Marcums crew took it upon themselves to do this. It wasn’t a big area but just the fact they thought of it made my day. I agree with a few other posts. Went to the Goldsby nursery around the 25th of Oct and shocked to fund the pitiful condition of trees, shrubs and plants. Made me cringe! No nursery I have ever been to treated their inventory like this. Dried out shrubs and dying/wilted leaves on some trees. I did buy 2 trees, a cedar and one badly neglected burning bush. I had to find someone to help me get them on the cart. I was told they would cart to the front for me so I kept looking around. When I walked back, there the cart was with my trees just sitting in the same place I left them. Told the front desk I needed help and she told me to go pull the tag off them. What lazy...
