Bobs Food Store — Local services in Gorman

Bob's grocery store is an amazing little store located on Texas State highway 6 on the west end of Gorman, TX about 20 miles from I-20.

Most evenings after 5pm you can find "Bob's Girls" working hard to assist customers--local and travellers ad well! Now one of these young ladies is actually my youngest daughter (no actual relation to Bob, his son or daughter-in-law who own the store).

They make sandwiches to order, help with directions if you are looking to find someone's house in Gorman and smile & giggle together when no one is looking!

The owners work here full time ( and then some) to provide a place for our small community to shop, catch up with one another and fill our gas tanks in our vehicles.

There is almost always an OTR truck or several parked nearby because they have amazing brisket sandwiches and other options if brisket isn't your favorite! Just be warned that most days the hot brisket is gone by 7 pm so perhaps come earlier in the day if you are craving brisket.

Bob's Grocery is ooen 6 am to 10 pm 365 days a year!

So remember to take TXSH 6 west through Gorman & visit---tell M'kayla her mom told you to say "hello". She should be there 5-10 9m... Uless it is most Wednesdays or Fridays!
