This restaurant is on Hwy. 6 in Gorman, on the right side of the road going north. It's open Friday to Monday for lunch and dinner and evenings. It is a great destination for a motorcycle ride or day trip with your family out in the rolling hills of north central Texas. The scenery is beautiful farmland, trees, and rolling hills on easy highways.
The food was excellent! I had the beef fajitas with corn tortillas. Others in the group had soft tacos with flour tortillas, and flautas, served with rice and beans, sour cream, and the freshest avocado. Portions were more than generous! Presentation was excellent. We took home to-go boxes. Prices were inexpensive compared to restaurants in the metro area!
Service was fast! We hardly waited before our dinners were served. Our server was prompt, attentive, and friendly. She had refills on our drinks before we knew we needed them!
It is very family friendly. You seat yourself as you come in the door. Parking was easy and convenient. The entrance was easy using a wheelchair.
The only minus for this restaurant is the noncompliance for the Americans with Disabilities Act and the challenge using the restroom. The door into the restroom is too narrow for a wheelchair. However, with some mobility and assistance it is accessible and allows for privacy. The minimum solution would be to order and install transfer bars and it would be more workable. If this were in the metro area it would be inexcusable. In a small town, it is likely to be typical. In our group we were able to deal with the aggravation.
In all, excellent food, exceptional service, inexpensive prices, and a clean and comfortable dining room in a locally owned and operated restaurant.
It is well worth a stop on an adventure or as a destination on an exploration through the northern hill country in...

Read moreDefinitely don't go here for the atmosphere but definitely go for the food! My wife and I was looking for a place to eat and stumbled across this place. The atmosphere is set up like fast food but the food itself is way way way better than the overpriced restaurants in Stephenville, TX and priced accordingly. We enjoyed the salsa and chips that we took a 32oz cup and a bag of chips home with us to have for a late night snack. The only thing that would have made this place 6 stars if you were able to enjoy an adult beverage with this...
