A nice safe place to spend the night. Restrooms are typically clean. Area is well lit. Watch out for a heavy set, caucasian woman, approximately 35-45, with shoulder length scraggly brown hair giving tourist a sob story about a car breaking down and needing money to get back on the road or something like that. I've stayed here multiple times and she's been there every time. She may even knock on your door in the middle of the night, so best to confront her early. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A refreshing pit stop! Just stopped by the Joplin Missouri Welcome Center Rest Stop on our long journey and it was absolutely delightful. The facilities were impeccably clean including the restrooms which is always a bonus on the road. There was plenty of parking available which made our stop hassle-free.
