This review is directed at those, like ourselves, that might be traveling through.
This park is for those who want to party on weekends, or longer. The office is not staffed. You call when you arrive for any help. Having said this once called the person on duty was helpful and nice. Ice is a bargain. No store or other supplies.
There is no wi-fi. We we were told that those staying need to contract with a provider to get service. Cell signal (Verizon) was marginal
There is good space between temporary site. There are no picnic tables. You must provide them to yourself.
The slots set aside for those on the move (2 plus years for us) are by the front gate so you can greet everyone coming or going.
The "rules" state a 5mph limit. The squashed rabbit in front of our site on day two may have disagreed about adherence to that rule, as we would, watching residents accelerate around the corner in front of our slot.
The shower/washroom of two, very basic showers would be adequate for a small park but not for a park closing in on 200 slots. But again, this is not a park for those with interests beyond owning a gravel pad.
Two final comments. On the positive, someone loaded our drier with $1.50 to run our load while we went back to catch some AC. But other than the nice guy mowing at 7:30 AM under our window on the day we left, not one person said hello to us in our three night stay.
If you are traveling through, they don't want you there.
Thanks to the owner for the reply. It is helpful.
From the resort website, "RV site rentals include 30/50 amp electric, water / sewer hookups, picnic tables and fire pits!". There were no picnic tables or fire pits at any site within view of where we stayed.
As you have clarified, the bathroom/showers are intended for those using the pool or by those with issues with their rigs. This is fine but it is unstated on your website. So for those not familiar with your facility it would be helpful to let folks know in advance what will be provided and what will not. In our travels we've stayed at a number of resorts that cater to members, full/long-term leasers and each have provided bath/shower facilities.
We were provided a deep and narrow gravel pad with 50 amp power, sewer and water and good spacing between sites. No table. No fire pit. We we charged $40 per night. Thank you for the offer of a refund. It is not necessary. I wrote my review, which I stand by, as information for others that might be traveling through the area.
We wish you well as you continue to improve your...
Read moreI booked a slot over a month in advance. I had a late start to our evening and noticed the reservation email you get doesn't have a lot number, so I called and left a voice-mail to get this information. After driving an hour and a half, we pulled into the camp ground and called again, this time getting an answer. I let them know I've arrived and needed a lot number so I could get hooked up. This was met with a simple sorry we can't check in it's to late. I explained that I had a reservation for a two night stay and I dont need help hooking up just simply need to know where to park. Was told again that we're not allowed to park, and we're simply out of luck! So now we're setting in the camp grounds with nowhere to go.
Now I'm out over $110 dollars for a service I never received and going through the dispute process to get...
