Don’t bother coming here. A group of 8 of us travelled down from Canada to spend a week in Great Falls. I called two weeks prior to us arriving to arrange a round of golf. I asked for 2 foursomes back to back. We arrived and they had only booked one foursome but they squeezed us in. They asked us not to play together as a group. We have 4 people that know how to golf and 4 that are just learning. After the first hole we let a group play through. We kept pace with them and just played the 8 of us together. The girls didn’t want to play par 5s and wanted to play the 3s and tried a few par 4s. Again we kept up with the group in front of us and were even waiting for them before we could tee off. On the 5th hole, a worker asked us to separate again because they were getting complains for there being too large of a group ahead of them. We tried to explain that if we split up now we will be for sure delaying the people behind us. The worker said is was about optics and not pace of play. We split up again. After the first group teed off on the 9th a girl from the clubhouse full of attitude told us that we were kicked off and we had to leave. She told us that her boss demanded it and that we couldn’t talk to him because he had left. We go to the club house and she was pretty upset that we had questions. Very rude and unprofessional. Another calmer worker came by and understood the situation. He also didn’t have contact info for the manager but he did refund all of us for 9 holes. The rude lady started spouting off that everyone behind us were worked there and we’re golfing for some wedding event and they were making complaints. She wasn’t even out there and was making stuff up to her co worker about how we were playing. We teed off at 09:00 and got removed off of the 9th tee at 11:15. Thats not unreasonably slow. Anaconda is apart of the same group so I don’t recommend that course either.
Now I understand pace of play is an issue, but all this started with them not booking the requested amount of golfers. They put us in back to back but on a busy course what did they expect to happen. If you’re keeping up with the group infront of you, what else can you do. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend this to anyone unless...
Read moreNever golfed a day in my life until I was here just less than a week ago. I came with a group and didn’t even make it half way before getting kicked off the course. Us ladies skipped some rounds so we didn’t hold everyone else up behind us. We kept up to the gentlemen ahead of us so there was no issues (or so we thought). When we asked for a reasonable explanation as to why we couldn’t play anymore, apparently we were holding people up (wasn’t the case at all). How else can someone learn if not going to a golf course?! the girl was very confrontational and just said her boss told her to do this. Wish I could say this was accurate as we were unable to speak with him. Coming from a customer service background for over 18+ years (hiring, on-boarding and training), I can say this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered. Us ladies tried to level with her and let her know we knew she was just the messenger and it wasn’t her fault, she made no eye contact while sitting there smoking and all we got was a ‘yeah’.. if that was even a response for us. My suggestion to this course and owner is get some better employees with some compassion and understanding. You might get a little further when you kick people off the course for no reason. Will absolutely never recommend this...
Read moreWe took our wives golfing here while visiting from Canada. most of the girls were beginner golfers and we all paid for 18 holes with the girls only playing par 3s to keep our pace up. Management showed up and very rudely asked us to leave and when asked why would not explain and told us to take it up with another guy but then told us he left. we later found out we were removed after the 8th hole because golf course employees were behind us golfing and complaining and called 6 times. The girl at the front desk was very rude and straight up told lies to stick up for her fellow employees that were behind us. Don't waste your time and money this place seems like more of a private playground for employees. Guy cutting the grass was nice so 1...
