When calling customer service hold times are 45 minutes and multiple times I was hung up on. When you do finally get a hold of someone they tell you to ork with the store and when you go to the store you are told to work through customer service. The store manager at the O'Fallon store actually had the audacity to tell me, and the line of customers there to complain about their deliveries, that the store had no real manager, he was just the acting manager, and he had no way to escalate our issues because they were just a franchise, he did not have any management above him, and the customer service number/ distribution center were corporate. When we asked for refunds and to have the orders cancelled we were told that could not be done as he did not have the...
Ordered a kitchen table, chairs, Couches, bed frame, and dressers. Bed frame and dressers were not an issue at all came on time and everything. Couches, kitchen table, and chairs TOTALLY DIFFERENT story. Had to reschedule the delivery twice and the second time I was lied to over the phone about it being scheduled for that day, had to go into the Ashley store I bought it at to find out they lied to me. Then the day the stuff gets delivered there is a part for my kitchen table missing so they couldn't put the table together with the delivery folks saying they were going to send an emergency truck out since the part was in the distribution center and that there were notes on file about this. Wrong again when I called customer service they had NO IDEA what I was talking about and that I would have to order an entire new replacement table which could take weeks. I think I have heard the phrase "we are dealing with COVID" 15 times, 1 or 2 times is cool I get it but come on customer service doesn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad 2 deliveries scheduled both with wrong furniture on truck, on top of that they can take that "whiteglove delivery" label off because some of the furniture had footprints on it and rips in the material, no plastic or not in box just wrapped dirty moving blankets. Refused the deliveries get to the store, they tried to offer some displays that everyone has been sitting on for 10% off.
I would suggest ya'll go to Carol House Furniture because after fiascle, late on a Saturday I went to Carol House and found something comparable that was in stock, so I went and grabbed my box truck and was able to pickup from warehouse that evening with everything in box, plastic, and clean white fabric sheet protectors.
Don't buy anything from Ashley, which is a national franchise company, so good look trying to get ahold of anyone. Store associates will tell you whatever for the sales and commission, and they delivery/warehouse is not careful...
