A hidden treasure just off St. Louis Downtown! This park has trails, an awesome picnic spot, a large covered area for barbecuing, a lawn and trails, paved and unpaved. It's really easy to get to and located a little off the exit 199 from I-55. The other approach is from S. Lindbergh.

We spent about half a day here and enjoyed our time. We did three trails and used the 'gym' equipment that's located conveniently along the trail. The floor for it is a soft mat that you can be certain to protect you even if you fall while fooling around. I realized our gym at the apartment doesn't have these facilities as an outdoor park!

Pack a picnic basket and go here. You can relax. Run with your pet if that's your thing. Play ball. Throw a frisbee. There's room for everyone and everything. The park is beautiful and well maintained.

The Snyder memorial Park is yet another example of poor marketing by St. Louis. It took us two years to realize that a park like this exists not so far from Costco...

with obscured trails awaiting to be discovered, this park has some of the best light hiking in the south county area.

One of the most beautiful parks in the area, even though the creek obviously has some pollution from a neighboring facility.

the bike path is well maintained, and the backroads not only feature stunning nature sights such as downed trees, deer, muskrats, and of course squirrels but turkeys inhabit the area as well.

expect to see cranes, ducks, asian carp and lots of softshell turtles in certain parks of the creek if you are quiet on a sunny day.

a few trash barrels dot the trails, and it seems every now and then you will see someone friendly enough to pick up other people's trash and throw it away.

the people always seem to have a smile, even on...

We loved this place. We took our bikes knowing we would be in the st louis area. We only had time for a short ride but were able to get in 13 miles and still had plenty of trail to ride! It ties into the Grant trail which runs near/through Grant's Farm. We rode to see Clydesdales then turned around. Great way to spend the day. Many people walked the trail and kids played on playsets. At one end of Grant's trail we found a bike rack complete with tools near a bathroom. We used the bathroom but if needed the tools could have came in handy! Nice clean and...

My son had his soccer games here. When they are playing, there is nowhere to park and you have to walk a bit of a ways to the games. And it's all uphill if u can't find a spot in the main upper parking lot.

This is a big park with sports fields, playground, and paved trails. There are exercise stations along the trail, and we saw people using them.
