Working from out of state, I guess I'm accustomed to doing business with companies that believe in customer service, not this one. Unfortunately, I have been here twice for supplies my company needs immediately and can't wait for our normal vendors, but this will be my last time. Will drive an extra hour away to deal with a company that will at least pretend to appreciate customers who do business with them. From the contractors counter, sits and just looks at you holding a sheet of paper WITHOUT even bothering to ask if they could be of any assistance, to being loaded in the back, where they just dropped, unbanned wood, sideways on your trailer and then just drive off, they make you feel as if you are bothering them from doing things they really want to do. I could maybe understand if they were really busy, but i was the only one at the contractors counter. Thank God this job is only going to last under a year. I could go into way more detail but really do not want to waste more time just to say DO NOT do business this place. For a local hardware/ building supply store Thomas Do It Center has it together! I have lived here for a couple of years now and it is the only place I shop for building supplies. The prices are very competitive with the surrounding big box stores. The employees are such a great help any time I go in someone is always there to offer help. Very clean and organized facility. This store and leadership is a true testament of why you support local businesses. Their prices were lower then Lowes and their staff were extremely knowledgeable. They asked questions and sold me what I needed, not just what I wanted. This saved me time and a lot of money.
