First of all alittle about my character- I have a graduate degree and am a outstanding member of my community. This was the sickest ive ever been in my life. I certainly would give below 1 star if I could. This is by far the worst emergency room that I have ever visited. They are rude they don't show any compassion. There is no teamwork or communication. I was taken to Holzer ER by ambulance because of Norovirus, which caused me to have a massive flare-up of pancreatitis on top of it. I have other health issues as well. I was going from freezing to death to burning up back and forth until I was slipping in and out of consciousness in the ambulance. This is life threatening and very dangerous-When we arrived at the hospital, I was forced to walk into the ER with assistance even after I told the driver that I couldn't because I was so sick. He planted me in a chair at registration, and I was dry heaving so bad I could not speak. After I couldn't answer their questions they moved me to triage gave me a stomach pill and Tylenol left me set for a hour then came back in and told me I had to go to the waiting room outside because they have another patient to treat -no doctor had seen me. I told them I can't because im too sick however they rudely insisted, so I ended up in the bathroom vomiting with severe hot flashes- freezing sweating diarea this continued for almost two hours back and forth to the restroom during which time I asked passing staff members for help and I was ignored like a bum on a street corner I swear! At that point I contacted my family to call once they did staff told them I left, my sister insisted I was still there, At that point a very rude nurse finally came out and ask me my name and looked at me and said we were told you left. My reply was I didn't tell anyone that I was leaving i am weak delirious shaken to the bone and you people have not checked on me for two hours she turned around and walked away. My family arrived 45 mins later. No one ever came out to help me. Camera's don't lie. Admins they don't lie. I will never go...
Read moreSeptember of 2021 i called 911 because I was having trouble after an ercp and a gallbladder removal, after 2 hours I was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Later on I basically crawled my way to the door and yelled for help while about 13 staff members where laughing and on their phones, and I got ignored. About an hour later I couldn’t take it and yelled again just for them to stay sitting and talking and tell me there’s nothing they can do for me anymore (even though I had pain medicine 4 hours prior). In total I layed in that room with a non working nurse call button for 8 hours then I got moved to the hallway outside of the room I was in for 4 hours. The emergency department is an absolute joke. Also from the looks of the other reviews they were that way before covid. i was one of the two people in the care part of the emergency department while about 10 people were in the waiting area for 10 hours plus bleeding, puking and even passing out (non related to covid). Most of the other people in this hospital take care of you very well. One nurse was great and did stand out to me but her shift ended about 5 minutes into...

You know when you have a good experience and you tell 10 people, well I am the type that tell 100. Again thank you and if I need care in the future I will...
