The Spinnery Store — Local services in Greenfield Township

The Spinnery Store saved the holidays. True! My son ordered and paid for my Christmas present from a totally different store (will not name) on 11/17 that store did not deliver or communicate delays until just days before Christmas. That the product wouldn't ship until late Jan 2023. The item was an Ashford Kiwi Super Flyer kit. (expensive item) After Christmas, I called The Spinnery Store to see if they had this item physically in stock. I told the owner Jodi the story of what had occurred. Jodi put me on hold double checked to make sure she had it. She opened a ticket while I was on the phone with her so we could purchase it right away. She overnighted the package to me and I had it before noon the next day. I was blown away at how fast she shipped it. (That was faster than Amazon -LOL). It arrived in perfect condition and is beautiful! I was able to get do the finishing wax,(I ordered unfinished so I could do it myself to match my spinning wheel) assembled the kit and start spinning with my new Super Flyer ASAP. Jodi was so nice and helpful. We actually started chatting about fiber, weaving etc. And WOW she is so knowledgeable and easy to talk to! I would totally recommend her store! I will definitely purchase again and I plan to make the several hours drive to visit her shop in person soon too. So happy with my experience!...

After browsing their website, I was lucky enough to visit The Spinnery Store in person! It was fun to visit a place that has supplies for so many of the hobbies I love in one spot - weaving and spinning.

They are located in a big red barn, which is part showroom and part warehouse (where they pack online orders). Carli and her son were very helpful in finding the items I was interested in and making recommendations when I wasn't sure what I wanted. Their prices are some of the best I've found anywhere in store or online too.

I'd definitely recommend a visit in person if you're in the local area, or ordering online from them if you're not. They are a great family-run business, and I look forward...

I ordered an Ashford Kiwi 3 and bag on Monday night. Since I’m in Schuykill county by Tuesday AM, I thought maybe I could make the hour and a half drive and pick up my new purchase instead of waiting for delivery of it.
