I saw the story on Chronicle a few weeks ago and got very excited. My parents were British, coming to this Country from London in 1948. My Irish paternal Grandmother used to send air mail parcels to us filled with all types of goodies. She died when I was 14, I am now 67. Sometimes the stock control isn't all that great - some products can be hit & miss as to whether they'll be available. The bangers they sell are passable, but nothing like anything half decent from back home (genuine British person here). Things are expensive (import duty can be a lot), but not as bad as the place on the main drag in Portsmouth, which is eye-wateringly Pricey.
