My provider was Dr. Susan Gallant-Behan. She LISTENED to my needs and addressed them and for that I am very thankful. I have struggled with computer work for several years now and have seen two other doctors at two other practices during that time. I've tried contacts with reading glasses. I've tried bifocals. The computer screens are blurry with my regular glasses I use for distance. My screens are blurry with no glasses. But finally, Dr. Gallant-Behan listened and suggested either single distance lenses specifically for the computer distance or workspace lenses, which are a little like bifocals. In the end, I decided on single vision. Sure, I have two pair of glasses now instead of one and that was more money, but I just keep the computer glasses at my desk and wear the others at all other times. And the extra cost was well worth it because, and I can't overstate this, the difference was AMAZING!! It's like I have new eyes when I'm working in front of a computer for 8 hours a day! I guess I should have figured this out a long time ago, and actually Google search sent me to websites that suggest just what I ended up with, but two other doctors in the past should have suggested this for me. So again, thank you very much Dr. Gallant-Behan. You have changed my life...
Read moreI used to regularly visit Fox Run Eye Care for many years when they were located in the Fox Run Mall. This was my first visit at the Greenland location. I enjoyed the layout of the facilities where the retinal scanners and other instruments were in open areas rather than in tiny rooms. The staff was friendly and personable. I did visit on a Friday (when they close early) just before noon, and it was quite busy. I had to wait about 20 minutes after my appointment time. They let me know that it is less busy later in the day, so I will remember for next time. I should also say I made an appointment on their website and was able to schedule one as early as the next day before deciding on Friday, so that is a great improvement over having to call and leave a message and wait for them to call you back as we did at the old location. While I was waiting I saw the attentive staff service several happy customers and there was a lot of fun energy in the air. The staff was knowledgeable about my insurance coverage and took my concerns seriously. I am returning on Monday to pick out frames for my glasses. I have every expectation that my visit will be just as enjoyable. I did visit while it was busy but parking seemed a...
Read moreI would honestly rate this place 0 stars if I could. I had an appointment I was running late for and called an hour in advance to let them know and see if I should reschedule my appointment or continue on my way, no one answered and I left a message requesting a call back and then called several other times with the same no answer. When I arrived I had said that I was late and had called and requested a call back, and the receptionist very rudely told me she had received my message but had no reasoning on why she didn't call me back besides I was going to be late and would have to reschedule. But apparently that didn't warrant enough importance to call back and to be treated super rudely in the office as well. I understand I was running late due to traffic on 95 but for her to acknowledge she had received my call but to do nothing about it beside tell me it didn't matter because I was late is completely unprofessional and as a store manager for a Luxottica owned brand I can't imagine they would ever be okay with hiring associates...
