Not much of a fair. It's more like a big flea market and not many rides for adults. This fair is mostly for farmers. Lots of farm equipment for sale and things that have nothing to do with a fair was there like selling floor tiles and RV's and such. Like what?? I found it to be strange and unnecessary for a fair. Whoever was talking none stop on the loud and obnoxious intercom should have stopped because it was very overwhelming and very loud. They need to think about playing some fair music sometimes instead of someone blasting visitors on the intercom like that none stop. I didn't see the reason to keep announcing everything like that over and over again! There was just no end to it. It was nice to see they had barns full of pigs, chickens, rabbits and so on there at least. Also had okay food. All in all it's not a REAL FAIR... Maybe to farmers around Ohio but Kentucky fairs, Texas, Colorado have better fairs that I've been to and they was what I call a real fair and a fun time. I thought this "Fair" was mostly for selling unnecessary things and they focused more selling tractors, storage buildings, RV's and such that they seemed to have forgotten what the real meaning of a fair was and forgot about the actual fair itself and didn't invest in good rides or more and better games and prizes. I've been to better fairs😥 I just didn't see what all the hype was all about for...
Read moreOverall the fair with all the animals and everything is great. However, the carnival part (primetime) is the worst in the country. We bought 5 wristbands 3 kids plus us. One of the ride operators had a meltdown because I walked up without mine on since the adhesive/glue sometimes cause a bad breakout. However, he speaks 0 English and forced me to put it on even though entire family has bands. No problem fine I put it on, then he refused to let the kids get on the ride since I didn’t have wristband on when I walked up. So we got back in line came back up and he said 1 kid it sounded like so I tried to take one and he refused again. You couldn’t have a conversation with the ride operator because he couldn’t communicate to you what he was trying to say. I tried to pull a translate app out and he refused cause I still don’t understand what his problem was. They met the height requirement with me along and it was literally a play house and they had wristbands and I...
Read moreI feel that it just gets more expensive every year to see the same thing. The concerts used to be affordable but now they charge prices as if you were going to an actual arena concert. I ordered tickets for the demolition derby 8 days beforehand and asked them to be mailed to me to avoid the hassle of picking them up the day of and paid $3 per ticket processing and live 1 possibly 2 mailing days away yet I still had to pick them up the day of the event. The ushers during the event didn't do their jobs, there were people fighting over other people supposedly being in their seats, people were tripping over strollers and folded wheelchairs laid down in the walk way, unruly people to the point that the sheriffs' had to escort them out. It's getting to the point where it's not as much about families anymore as it is about revenue which...
