I got my hair done by Ms Torrey and I must say she is the best hair stylist I have ever went to. You can tell she truly has a passion for hair and not just doing it for the money. It’s very hard to find that these days in the hair community. She is truly gifted and god has really blessed this amazing woman and she is also very friendly which I am not use to and the atmosphere and everyone just seems in good spirits which I love. I am definitely gonna be a loyal customer to her. She actually did a consultation which was my first one no one else has ever ask me questions about my hair or talk to me or said what my hair needs or anything for that matter but she did and I appreciate that. She told me what my hair needs and did what it needs and my hair feels and looks so healthy and shiny and full now. I trust her so much to get my hair back on tract and back to health cause before I went to her my hair was very damaged and dry and breaking off and shedding very bad but she actually talk to me and took before and after pictures of my hair to show me that it needs to be cut to get it on to healthy hair and I was amazed how my hair looked after she cut it. I am a recent transplant to Greenville, NC. I dreaded the search of finding an exceptional hair salon, barber or loctician who could address the needs of my long locs. I did my research and because of Rek’s reviews and cleanliness I decided to give them a try.

Kayla was the perfect choice. She was not only professional but was very knowledgeable, friendly, and walked me through every step of the process. She detoxed, washed, conditioned and styled my locs. She will be my mainstay for as long as she is available or I am in Greenville.

I would recommend the salon and Kayla when your locs are in need of attention.

Most importantly they practiced social distancing, temperature taking, hand sanitizing and masks.

Visited the Greenville NC area and needed to get my hair done for a special occasion. Received recommendation from someone local. Called for walk-in visit and spoke with Monica. She indeed worked a miracle on my hair! I loved the way my hair looked, felt and smelled. The wash she provided was thorough and therapeutic, followed by a deep conditioner. When I have my hair done by my local stylist, the heat from the tools is so hot I smell like burn hair for about a week. I did not feel high heat when she did my hair. The best part is that my hair looked good even after a week using pin clips.
