Best Locally-owned Family Milk Store if you like fresh milk daily. I travel an hour just to get my white & chocolate milk from this family. They were voted #1 between Missouri & Illinois on the best chocolate milk. That's how I found out about this place and made it a must go find out about. You can actually watch the process as well. Their history is on a wall telling you about their family owned business. On top of it, they make homemade ice cream in so many flavors. My favorite is the banana pudding & strawberry cheesecake. But, these flavors change constantly as well, so you never know what the flavors are of the day. They just started carrying donuts, too, on Saturdays and different flavors of popcorn. Sit down and enjoy some ice cream inside during cold weather & outside during summer weather. The staff is always welcoming and warm to all the customers. Support your locally-owned businesses to keep them in our communities and in business for all to enjoy. It's right off the highway, so it's great for travelers & close to so many towns, too. You won't regret it, I always bring a cooler & stock up as their prices & products are so reasonably priced. It's better than a grocery store any day, and it's produced daily, so the expiration date is so much better to boot. Big Shout out to my favorite milk store & ice cream place around...

We stopped in The Milk House today. We both had a Cherry Cheese Cake Donut., and a bottle of their Chocolate Milk. The Milk House does NOT make their own donuts. They get them from a place in Edwardsville Illinois. For 2 donuts and two bottles of chocolate milk, almost $12.00. The donuts are NOT any better than a donut from a local donut chain place. I had two bites of "filling", in my donut. It did NOT taste anything like cherry. It tasted more like a generic watered down strawberry jelly! As for the "icing and pulverized topping, it had ZERO taste!As for their own Chocolate Milk. It is NOT very chocolatey or creamy! Oberweis is MUCH BETTER!! With all of that said, it's a local place. I hope they succeed, but it will NOT be from my money! The building...

If you like good ice cream, this is a good place to visit. But only if you also enjoy wild conspiracy theories and want Christian Nationalists Militia members to seize control of the local government.

This business is advertising for Tactical Civics on their front door. Tactical civics is a far right group building a Christian Nationalist Militia network here in the United States. Their stated intent is to use arms against the United States government, to combat the “Covid-19 hoax,” “the deep state” and “Communists.” They also believe that some Americans are currently being held in “concentration camps.”
