We didn't go here but we did order from here. We found Baker's Candies while we were traveling through Nebraska back in 2012. Best chocolates ever!!!! That's where our love story begins. Haha I knew we were leaving for Texas so we got every sort of dark chocolate they had, and some that was regular chocolate. There wasn't one we didn't like. We were back in Nebraska a few months back and we found an assortment of chocolates in a store there. It wasn't the same experience as visiting them but I got my chocolates. So it's been online ever since. I have run out again so I ordered online. UPS is who delivered I believe. No 5 stars for them. Baker's clearly put "protect from heat" stickers all over the box but the driver put the box on the ground anyway, 5' from my door. Can't explain his mind or thought process but thankfully I had been keeping my eye on my delivery and I got outside within minutes of delivery. Baker's packed my chocolates so well. I'm talking the cold pack, insulation sheets, etc. Nice cool air greeted me when I opened the box, I wanted to climb in. Not one melted chocolate, not even a little bit. It was in the 90's here in Florida. The chocolates were wrapped like a present. No seriously!! Plus it was a present.... to myself. Haha If I could give more than 5 stars I most...

My favorite, and I do mean favorite, candy store! I’ve been coming here for years. They’ve always had delicious chocolate candies, ones that are unique and scream quality. Their “chocolate meltaways” literally melt away - no matter the flavor. I absolutely love the dark chocolate orange, milk chocolate mint, dark sea salt caramel, milk chocolate, scooters, and peanut butter. There are so many yummy flavors. They even have a case where you can get chocolate specialties. Smores, Oreo, rice crispy, and a m&m candy bar are always my go-to. However; this year I noticed a tiramisu truffle that was absolutely amazing. If chocolate isn’t you thing they have a variety of almost every candy you can think of. A wide variety of bottled pop. Two types of ranch dressings that they help produce. They have speciality products like barbecue sauces, popcorn, other condiments, etc . . . My kids loved the little Harry Potter candy section, with a chocolate wand. I loved the nostalgia of the shredded bubble gum.

You need to stop here. I need to come here more often. It’s worth the trip. Trust me! It’s also a locally owned and operated company. The Baker family put their all into it,...

What a wonderful surprise Bakers Candies was to discover! I had heard about it but never went until I needed to get some chocolates for a work project and our usual person wasn't able to do it- and I'm so glad because I was able to discover Bakers. I totally expected to just find chocolates but was delighted to find a nice selection of fun vintage and novelty candies in addition to their signature chocolates. I had no idea they also made delicious salt water taffy, sour balls and other candies (which I got plenty of to share) plus there is fudge galore and the secret surprise room on the side that housed a ton a varieties of bottled soda in every flavor imaginable and an impressive selection of Nebraska and area products like popcorn, jam, etc. Totally a great place to go if you want to pick up some local items and put together a nice gift basket or something. Highly recommend. Staff is super friendly. Prices are reasonable. Candy and chocolates are delicous! :-) ...

Every time, great experience and this last time..... Amazing the Dino that sucks up the trash of your samples reminds me of Leo the Lion at the Zoo. The Kool aid samples were great and all the international snacks varieties are better then before the remodel. Maybe you can start to sell pre packaged snack boxes from flavors around the globe that would be cool. I know some reviews here complain of the price and if you go to a farmers markets for spreads and pickles ect its about the same. My suggestion to those who want to pay only a couple dollars for canned goods and homemade specialties. Just do them your self then, for the rest of us its nice to support a local business and not have to do the work ourselves.
