Cooke Tavern Ltd — Local services in Gregg Township

I'm writing this review based upon their soup mixes that they sell. In my case, it was their Butternut Squash Bisque. I bought the mix for $10 in a little shop in Poulsbo, WA while on vacation about a month ago. I was finally able to cook the soup mix up on New Years Day. It was HORRIBLE. As a result of this, I refuse to purchase anymore pre-mixed soups. The cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves were so overwhelming in this mix that you couldn't taste anything else. Yuk! I ended up throwing out an entire 2 qt pot of it. I honestly almost threw up, it was that bad. Do these places even try this stuff out first in a test kitchen before they pkg it or do they just throw it in a bag and sell it? We rang the New Year in w/ delicious Atlantic salmon. My son said this soup should have been eaten on New Years Eve representing the last bad thing we ate from a bad year! I'd have to agree. Don't waste your money on these mixes they sell. They...

This is such a beautiful wedding venue with a spacious interior and picturesque outdoors. The landscape is perfect for romantic portraits of the bride and groom. :) I was also very impressed with how attentive the owners are. While taking photos at the reception, the owners noticed that more natural lighting will work best for our photos and they opened up more doors to allow for abundant natural light. It was so thoughtful and truly made a huge difference to our reception photos! I highly recommend...
