Grocery Outlet has always been one of my low-key favorite stops when I’m in the area. Walking through it is like hitting a rotating exhibit at the Museum of Random But Glorious Food. One aisle might have organic almond butter for half the price, the next one’s got a German protein bar you’ve never heard of that slaps harder than your gym trainer. It’s not just cheap...it’s strategically cheap. Whether you’re stocking up on basics, chasing down niche health foods, or trying to feed your inner bodybuilder without maxing out your credit card, this place delivers. And for those of us living in this beautiful, late-stage capitalist circus of inflation? Grocery Outlet is a lifeline. The supplement section alone is enough to make a CrossFit coach muscle up for joy. And the fun part? You never quite know what you’ll find. That’s half the charm. G.O. is part survival strategy, part treasure hunt, and all budget friendly attitude. Bring a list then throw it out. This is buy and try on a mission, and at their low prices, why not!

I go out of my way to shop at this location because I see they give back to the community unlike other grocery outlets. I emailed them days ago and response. I wanted them to know about how I bought some oranges and the day after I found Mold on them I clearly didn’t see it at the store. And on how they should check there oranges and that I hoped other customers haven’t purchased any moldy oranges the only reason I didn’t return them was I would lose my time and more gas for a bag of oranges. I never received a response if they were going to make sure other shoppers didn’t purchase moldy products clearly contamination that can make people sick.

Luke and miqua or mikequa whatever the name is think they are security guards and flower me all around the store. I’m a very disrespectful and discriminatory way. And Luke got extra aggressive when I was paying and letting another team member know. Very unprofessional. And need to get it together. Lousy employees especially luke. Is a trashy worker.

The manager that was working last night (she has purple hair) was outstanding- I give her 5 stars. She was kind, attentive and super helpful for this momma of a 1yo toddler-who makes shopping difficult.

Not all employees "get it" when I come through their line. When I get there I am already tired from working all day. I then drove 45 minutes after work to pick my son up from daycare. The last thing I want to do is run errands and grocery shop, but it has to be done this way since we live in Cascade Locks.

Some employees at this location you can tell have kids and are attentive in this way. But others, It seems they are annoyed and rush me through and as soon as I pay they are immediately scanning the other person's groceries and I dont have time to get my bags into my cart before they are shoving other groceries over. I buy a lot too, because we live far away we bulk up. So this is a lot to manage with a tired, cranky toddler and tired momma. I leave with a feeling they were annoyed I even came in.

There have been a couple times a random customer will notice and jump in to help load my cart and also help carry what doesnt quite fit out to my car for me. WHY is the bystander providing better customer service than the employee!

I would like to coordinate my shopping night when the purple hair manager works her shift because I left feeling at ease. I did all my shopping and forgot I needed to exchange something, but I had forgotten the other product out in my car. This manager went ahead and processed the exchange and helped bag my groceries, THEN loaded my groceries into my cart while I put my wallet away and situated my son. THEN walked out with me to get the other product so I didnt have to make another trip back insidešŸ‘šŸ™ THIS FOLKS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I suggest she be put in charge of training the other cashiers. 3 stars for the regular experience I have, but I really do give...

uncomfortable situation with one of your working Lisa store location 108. I'm not one to ever do this because I find kindness in everyone no matter the situation but I was disgusted the way she acted. I had a loooong day of work and mind you I'm a regular customer, I have came here even before I was able to buy my own groceries and I'll just say I LOVED coming here and the workers were amazing. But yesterday this lady Lisa was god awful, she was very rude and when I do my usual thing of helping bag because I got a lot of groceries and your workers love when I help when I come in, WEEKLY. she rudely commented "I was going to bag that" I said oh that's okay, I don't mind helping and she replied with "okay whatever bag your own groceries then" and continued to mock me feeling so uncomfortable and shocked. She then YELLED at me and said I don't need the waters up here and everyone stared at me while I apologied THEN after the transaction went through she forgot the sodas and you know mistakes happen that's okay, so I put them up for her to ring them up, she purposely threw around the soda and rolled her eyes. My card declined the second time because it was being funky and she told the customer behind me, "you might want to go to another line this is going to take a while" which was so uncalled for because ya know ITS EMBARASSING when your card declines after it was just working!! This was so uncomfortable and unprofessional I had my head down leaving the store, I've never had to experience that in my whole life and I have always treated you guys with so much respect with how much you do and I sadly I will not be coming back to this store after that. I went home to my boyfriend and he saw how bad I was because I felt so embarrassed like I did something wrong when I was being kind. If she still has a job there with that attitude I'd be sick to my stomach to have her as...

One of THE MOST RACIST stores I’ve been to. Every time I’ve come in the checker Denise is so cold and rude towards people of color. On a few occasions I’ve tried complimenting her or just being polite and she’ll just be so passively rude. I brought my empty cart to her so that she could put my bags in and she stood there holding the bag up as I brought it to her. I asked if it was okay where it was and her reply, ā€œI just need you to stop moving the cart!ā€. Wow. The she folds up my receipt and says, ā€œhere you go!ā€ And turned and started ringing up the next person.

I’ve seen white customers come through her line and she’s smiling and asking how there day is etc..With people of color. Stone faced and short replies is what you’ll get.

It’s not just her. I went to get some salad and notice a gentleman stocking the shelf, I politely said, ā€œExcuse me, sorry about thatā€. (Because I had to reach near to him to grab the bag). And he side eyed me and starts slamming the bags back onto the shelf. Older white man with a white beard.

Im not one to bash a business especially regarding race unless I honestly believe that’s what’s happening. I try to be kind and polite every time I shop there and it’s never reciprocated by certain employees.

It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen there. Which is unfortunate because of of the other staff...
