As soon as you walk into Omaha sporting complex, you are met with an atmosphere about working as a team and helping each other grow and improve in the sport of soccer. You're met first with people at the front desk who were smiling and ready to help you get wherever you need to whether it's to a field or a certain spot where you're supposed to find a coach they're here to help with whatever you need. The complex is a Turfgrass, but it is a little bit longer than regular turf that way players can get used to the long grass that you would find on a regular field. There are spots at the front of the complex where parents can sit in washer children advance and help others and learn while they can also talk to each other. Owner is a complete and utter disgrace to the game. He will randomly ref league matches when they are short refs. He will never call a game evenly, he misses calls because he’s no where near the play and he will go on ego trips whenever he feels like it. I’ve witnessed him not only send off players but ban them from his building for offenses that are minimal such as a disagreement or even worse a disagreement between teammates. Don’t even bother asking him about a call he with threaten you with a card and if he does give you a reason it will be a reason so bizzare it’s not even mentioned in FIFAs rules of the game or the Nebraska Referee Handbook. Unless your playing organized for a club or a high school where they have actual licenses referees avoid this place like the plague. Very rude, unprofessional and unorganized, would not recommend this facility. My team made a $450 deposit for league fees paid in cash at the start of the season. 3/4 the way through the season they came up to us before our game and said that we haven't paid league fees yet and cant play again until we do, to which we replied we already paid in full at the beginning season and we paid cash. The gentlemen pressing us for the money said they dont have any record of it, we were dumbfounded and asked so you lost our deposit and now you want us to pay double or we cant play? He offered no assistance in trying to help us get to the bottom of where our money went and simply replied "Not my (bleeping) problem, pay now or leave".
