The View on Grand — Local services in Grove

3/5 due to communication, or lack there of I should say. Firstly, DO NOT purchase the insurance if you’re not booking more than 31+ days in advance. The insurance is a third party scam that only covers death or hospitalization that requires certified documentation in order to cancel. Secondly, once this was learned and we needed to reschedule our days, I attempted to call both numbers provided and did not get an answer until the 5th time. Once it was answered Lindsey told me that they indeed had gotten my voicemail however they were busy with personal travels. Sounds like you need to hire someone to step in if you yourself are taking a vacation to handle any issues. My dates were changed to the following weekend which I still had to confirm with my wife if it would work. Once I spoke to her and learned it was not a good date, I again attempted to call numerous times without an answer, along with sending an email. Again it also went unanswered. The View on Grand was exactly what we wanted — a place for a couple of retirees who were visiting extended family in the area but wanted a bit of “vacation time” for ourselves as well. Everything we needed for a week stay was here. We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio, grilled a couple of dinners, and stayed cool inside when outside temperatures rose too high. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever found while traveling. The View is near the highway but we rarely heard road noise inside except when weekend traffic began to build on Friday evening and Saturday morning — but was not really disturbing. We bbsolutely loved our stay! Better than the pictures if that’s even possible. lol. Felt so taken care of with all the details down to a sleep machine, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed and blankets with extras that are top quality! View is amazing even with cold temps, ice and snow. In fact, we loved the snow and the fire table on the porch as well as the sunshine and walking down to the water. Oh and two beautiful sunrises from bed.
