MDA Piti Headquarters — Local services in Guam

If you want to learn to dive, or if you already are an experienced diver, MDA is the place for you. Awesome staff, great prices, and highly professional. If you already have a cert and a dive buddy, you can get all the gear you need with a tank for $20. Don't have a cert? You can get open water certified for half of what you'd pay in the states. Their boat dives are well run and not rushed, though they're not luxury "sit back and let the crew wait on you" type, which is A-OK with me. And they lead free beach dives each weekend.

If you're going to be on island for more than a few days and plan to get in a couple dives, I highly suggest getting their 5-star card. It will pay for itself in short order and then some!

I am honestly considering a trip back to Guam just to get some extra certifications and maybe get my girlfriend certified, they're that good. Oh, and the dive sites on...

I had a great experience earning my open water certification here some time ago. The course was thorough, the instructor I had was an ex-Navy diver and he was very good with everyone, especially a couple of people who panicked a little during our first, deeper dive.

We did all of our open water training at Outhouse beach in Apra harbor. While not the most interesting of places, the water was very warm, had decent vis and was calm for people who were breathing under water for the first time.

The training I had at MDA has served me well over the years. I have been diving throughout Micronesia, the Caribbean, and Hawaii. Also turns out, I made a lifelong friend there too! I would recommend MDA to anyone who happens to be in Guam as a great place to train, as well as to gt gear and go...

We went last week as a group of 3 with no prior bookings, and after checking out some of the other dive shops we decided to dive with MDA for the first dives and ended up diving with them the whole trip.

Best decision ever - we had 3 different dive guides and they were all amazing and we were lucky enough to visit the main dive sites.

All equipment and boat etc were top notch and prices were competitive.

But one major difference with this dive shop was the staff and the dive guides - they were so friendly and knowledgeable and we got so many good recommendations and tips about Guam that it totally made our holiday.

Shout out to Naiyomi, Wes, Sky, Parker and Kim, Jack and the whole MDA team!
