Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Guilford

We love tractor supply. It has everything and i think it beats the big box stores home depot and lowes. Yea they have more. But this store has alot of things they dont have like live chics like 6 dif kinds also huge safes. And the reason we always look for one is bc they fill RV propane almost all of them do it we found one in fla that didnt. But this store is great they have this bin that has like 8 dif boxes that have all cool tool knick nacks like socket sets and wrench sets and axes and just alot of awesome things that everone always need and everything is like under 15 bucks everytime i go i spend like 15 min just goin thru these open box ..also have some great clothes. For work. Carhartt and just a good selection that everyone uses ..also they have alot of name brand things dewalt and all the good things u use for work. Way way better quality wise then harbor freight. This is a def. Reccomended place to go spend a good hour checking everything out they also have alot of bigger things outside. Def one of our favorite stores love it. There all pretty much the same but also check out the dried beef jerky line they carry homemade and its a 9 out of ten really good. ...

Went in to purchase chicks for my small backyard flock. Sales associate informed me I could not buy 4 chicks and had to buy a minimum of six. She did not explain the reason for the policy. I explained that I already have a few hens and didn't have room for six more. She was rude and kept repeating that I had to buy six chicks. I've had chickens for years and when I need to replace hens that have been lost to predators or old age, every other feed store will make exceptions to the minimum chick purchase when I explain that I already have an existing flock. I should have known better than to go to a chain store instead of driving a few extra minutes to a locally owned place. It's a mistake I won't make again. I drove straight from Tractor Supply to Lakeside Feed, got four healthy chicks and supplies, pet a sweet dog, held a baby duck, said hi to the llamas, and didn't have to deal with...

This is an amazing store. Wow, everyone is so nice and makes you feel welcome. My first time in the store after ordering online. Item was ready in 30 minutes. The fastest I have ever had an item be ready.

Then I go in and the gentlemen were awesome. I was just picking up kerosene but the guy at the front was funny and made me immediately comfortable. Then I go pick up the kerosene and another guy said, do you want me to put it in the car for you? Wow, I was only getting two gallons and said I can do it. But it really touched me about how kind he was.

This little exchange made me so happy, I got home and went back to the site to see what else they sell. It has become my favorite store especially the one in Guilford, CT.
