I bought my Maytag French door refrigerator as a set of kitchen appliances in September 2016 at Coles appliances. In the past three years, Iāve had nothing but problems with my brand new refrigerator. The issues seem to keep coming from the vent in the bottom of the refrigerator continuously icing over this causes me to not be able to use my deli/cheese drawer or either of the vegetable/crisper drawers because everything in there will freeze. Another reoccurring problem is the icemaker machine. Sometimes itās working and filling up my ice bin with ice and other times it completely stops working and I wonāt have ice for days so basically intermittently for the last three years Iāve had to buy my ice from the store since my brand new Maytag refrigerator wonāt function properly.
In the three years that Iāve owned this Refrigerator, I have had 4-5 service calls from Coles to try and fix the problem. I have a hard time continuously getting charged for these ārepairā visits and the problem is still not fixed. The store manager that I bought the set from said that they canāt do anything except send another person out to try and fix it and I donāt want to do that because I canāt afford another bill for something thatās never been fixed. They also recommended I call Maytag customer service but when I called, they said the best they can do is arrange to have another service call come out and fix the problem for another additional cost. I cannot and will not continue paying people to fix my brand new refrigerator that obviously is not fixable. I thought Coles was a reputable, home-town place of business but they have yet to make it right with this ex-customer. PS- Did I mention the new dishwasher that came with the set has also had to have a service call and a soap dispenser replaced in a BRAND new dishwasher!!!!
*update 8/16/2019 I received a call from the Coles furniture sales manager Alex shortly after writing the above review. I am very happy to say that I was not charged for the repairs that never really repaired my fridge and he also ordered and had delivered a brand New Maytag refrigerator to replace the dysfunctional one. I am very pleased with Coles making this right for me and I will continue shopping with them. Thank you...

It was the day before a holiday and the weekend was approaching, we had little hope that we could get a new refrigerator before Monday and 4 days with no refrigerator seemed like an eternity. My father in-law always shopped at Coles, and had nothing but good things to say about them, I had always been a Home Depot/Lowes girl, but I took the chance. And I am so glad we did. The available selection and pricing was better than that of the big box stores, and the customer service was first class. They were able to deliver, install and haul away within hours of our purchase. The installers were first class as well. Overall this was a great experience and we will always look to Cole's first for all of our appliance and furniture needs....

They told me 2 to 3 weeks estimate for delivery it showed up in two weeks. The following week the installers were at my place within the 2 hour block time they gave me.. They were awesome, took them 30 minutes to do everything they needed to do. You will not get service like this from big box stores. There was not even a price difference from big box store.
