One thing I noticed today in almost all the bad reviews, they all have a common thread, rude, no customer service skills and definitely doesnt care about their customers or reputation. I stopped by this shop a couple weeks ago and that day everything was ok. Other than the older grumpy man (owner, with that attitude he cant be an employee) with serious lack of customer service. I stopped today to get more flowers for my yard. There is a shed with a roped off area with things that are not for sale and you are not allowed inside. As I was walking past it, with an almost full cart, I noticed some tricolor purple ivy I purchased a few weeks ago. I stopped and leaned slightly over the rope (maybe 2 inches) to get a better look. The color looked nicer than mine so I was wondering if I maybe needed more or less sun. Which I probably wouldve asked about. Next thing I know the rude old man started raising his voice, "you cant be back there, etc". I apologized and said I know, i wasnt behind the rope or in the building, I was trying to get a better look at the ivy, he cut me off He was so rude and belligerent i put my cart handle down and said, well I dont need to shop here. He then starts following me across the front yelling, if you are going to talk back we are going to have a problem. I told him, "I said, I was leaving, I dont need to buy anything from here." He is still following me to my car and yells "Leave!" I told him, if you havent noticed, I said I was not going to shop here, I am leaving, you keep following me, yelling at me having to get the last word. I have never been spoken to like that by a business I was going to spend money on. And for a male, larger than me to follow me across the parking lot saying "we are going to have problems" because he didnt like what I had to say. In this day and age that is not only rude, but threatening as well. My Aunt referred me, I referred a friend and boyfriends mother. We will NEVER, visit that establishment. Rude is one thing but following me to my car, yelling and threatening we are going to have problems crosses the line. Extremely disrespectful. I would expect more from a man his age to not yell, threaten and follow a female half his size...
Read moreWe are completely dissatisfied with TG Designs and will never use them again and recommend never using them. We ordered a specific arrangement through Teleflora called Fashionista Blooms for Mother's Day. After ordering, my wife called TG Designs and spoke to Todd who confirmed that they would fill the order without problem. After delivery, my Father sent a picture of the arrangement that was delivered ... it looked NOTHING like what we purchased. I immediately called TG Designs and spoke to Todd who said "you are not my customer" and that "we barely get paid by Teleflora". He was not only rude, but was also made it very clear that he was not interested in even listening to our complaint. He even said we could post a review and he didn't care nor did he care if we contacted the Better Business Bureau. We can give a one star because they did deliver flowers. We paid almost $100.00 for the arrangement. What was delivered looks like something you would buy in a grocery store for $20.00. So basically to sum up, TG Designs doesn't care what product they put out there, has no interest in customer satisfaction, and if you speak to the owner, Todd, he will treat you rudely and without care. Todd's reasoning is that they receive little money from Teleflora so he doesn't care what gets sent out. I would suggest that they no longer affiliate with Teleflora if they intend to continue conducting business in this fashion. It is difficult to understand how TG Designs stays in business with such terrible service. Do yourself a service and use any other florist in Hagerstown and do not...
Read moreMy husband ordered me a bouquet of two dozen pink, and red roses with baby's breath for our 31st wedding anniversary. They were beautiful, but the dozen pink roses in the bouquet weren't up to par. I called TG Designs to let them know my disappointment in the pink roses, and they offered to swap that bouquet with a brand new replacement. The replacement was going to have a different kind of pink roses. The lady I spoke with was very nice, and knowledgeable about the roses. She didn’t give me a hard time, or any issues when she offered to swap them. She understood the problem with the pink roses in my bouquet. When the replacement bouquet arrived I was pleasantly surprised, because I noticed the difference right away. I was so happy my husband chose TG Designs to purchase my anniversary flowers. I can't say enough good things about the customer of this business. I highly recommend TG Designs to anyone wanting beautiful flowers, and a business that actually stands behind their product. I will always be a return customer, as this is my new go to florist. If I could give more than 5 stars I...
