Haines City Moose Lodge — Local services in Haines City

I bought a year membership U could not use the benefits thereof. It's a year from when I joined. am a widow. My husband and I used to be members of the Moose Club almost seven years ago. It's now 20 20 last summer I decided to go ahead and be a moose member again at the same Lodge that him and I used to go to. I paid my fee which it was the whole thing even though I used to be a member. Filled out the paperwork After 4 months I relocated. I was not able to use my membership for I would say 8 months because you have to have a card if you're not at the Moose Club that you joined. And I could not get a card. I never got a card in person I never got a card in the mail I never got a card when I made phone calls. Now it's a year later and it's getting resolved because I wrote the letter to I guess the headquarters. Who do I contact to be able to use my card for that amount of months that I was not allowed to participate as being an active moose member even though I had paid for it? DO I GET COMPENSATED FOR ALL THE MONTHS I WAS NOT ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN WEEKDAY I PAID FOR. IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS WAY.

This place has a neighborhood, homey feel. Everyone is nice. They have fun entertainment and an open pit BBQ with patio outside along with seating in a screened in area. I side has plenty of seating, a billiard table and they play cards too. Once a month they put on a T-bone steak dinner, with salad, rolls, huge baked potatoes with all the fixings, and dessert. It's fantastic but I noticed the price has increased every time we attend. It started at $9 and is now $18 but even at that it's a bargain. You'll need a ticket so if you don't know a member to get them in advance, call ahead to see about getting them or drop by to buy them in advance or...

We were invited by some friends for a wedding and we had a blast. What a fun family oriented lounge and friendly people. We live far from them, otherwise would become members. If you like to travel a lot this might be a good place to look into it since they have many thru the USA that you can go with your membership that surprisely is so cheap, I think $35 year and drinks are great and also very affordable. Highly recommend it and I thank our friends for the invite. Looking to see if they open one near us so we can join. The lodges do a lot of fundraising and help the communities as well.
