Came in this morning right at 11:00 as they were getting the lunch food out. A lady and man were preparing food in the kitchen to get items out for service. My son asked if they had any corn dogs ready and the women said loudly âno we donât.â My daughter was using the kiosk to see if they still had breakfast items available for order, the same woman replied from the back âdepending on what youâre ordering I donât know that Iâm going to have time to get to it right now.â They were working on lots of items in the kitchen area and were definitely busy back there at the moment, so I get it. There was maybe one other customer in the store besides us so they werenât overrun. But as we continued to shop and got in line at the register, the lady in the kitchen continued to loudly express her frustration, so that the entire store could hear her, about being asked for food items âbefore she could even get the stickers on themâ and about how she couldnât get her tasks completed. It went on loudly for 2-3 minutes. The lady at the register was kind and professional and even she recognized the behavior of her coworker was out of line. This was one of the rudest displays Iâve seen in customer service in a while, in a store that my family visits multiple...
Read moreI recently went in to buy my every other day gallon of milk. I saw a milk card lying on the floor, I assumed a customer had dropped their milk card and proceeded to hand it to the cashier, whom proceeded to start snickering(which is rude). I go to the cooler to get my milk, turn around and see the cashier throwing what I assumed was the customers lost milk card. So I asked the cashier why she would throw a customers milk card when they might like it returned to them. Apparently they had been throwing several milk cards as there were several lying around. The other cashier decides to get rude and starts yelling at me, and says that I was yelling at the other cashier. I did not yell of get rude. I do not understand why said cahier could not have told me it wasn't a customers milk card, although customers milk card or not they shouldn't have been throwing them in the first place. I will not shop at this Weigels again, even if it means buying another brand of milk, which I have been buying for 32 plus years, along with gas every week. I guess Weigels is more concerned about Employee care than customer care like they use to be, this store definately isn't ran like the...
Read moreI go to Weigelâs Washington pike in Knoxville at least every other night. About a month ago I had my 3 year old granddaughter with me. My granddaughter dropped her little toy bottle filled with candy powder and it spilled out on the floor. The lady behind the counter told me to go get her another one and that she would pay for it. (I hate that I failed to get her name but I do have the names of a couple of ladies that always that make me feel so welcome. A big shout out to Hailey and Robin for always being so nice. I used to kid Robin all the time, saying she was always working looking so intense. Now she will always take a minute or two break and talk to me if they are not busy. I feel fortunate to live in a community where I have been able to send out a 5 star review of 3 different businesses that have gave me a âWOWâ experience, all within a couple of miles...
