Unexpectedly, today's task was to clear the stopped up drain in my teenage daughter's bathroom. To do this, I had to take apart the plumbing back to the wall. Having done that, I found the steel pipes they had used were corroded through in some areas, the nut broken, and some threads stripped. I ran to Peter's to get what I needed to fix it. Upon arrival, I did not find the parts that the previous person had used to "plumb" this drain. One of the associates in the plumbing area helped me to configure what I needed to do the job correctly We probably spent 10 minutes looking at what I had coming from the wall, and the pieces that were removed, to come up with a solution. I have to stop shopping here. Unfortunately this is my third trip here this month, and every time all the employees were wearing masks wrong, pulled down off their nose. Also on every visit one employee in particular is constantly gossiping with customers about how fake Covid is. This time the customer wasn't even wearing a mask and bragging about how he had a positive test but it didn't mean anything. Someone who has lost a person to Covid already, and has another person at home with a compromised immunity this just sucks.

I have a really hard time giving a 1 star review to this place, because normally it's a fantastic little hardware store that is right down the street. But selfish ignorance in 2020...
