Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Hamburg Township

First time I came through with the new owners.I ordered a double deluxe and got nothing but two patties and cheese.. Thought I'd give it a try one more time, but , didn't go so well.I was giving my order to 1 person and next thing.I know I had to get my order to another person.I just drove away, can barely understand them through the speaker with their accent , truly overpowering their english.. What happened to the kids that used to work there and made that place run right . Must be all family in there now.Well I suggest you get some locals back in there to help you're gonna lose that place.. Cause I won't be back. The line used to go out to the road.It looks like a ghost town in there. I bet you they fired every employee that was working there and brought in nothing but family members in.. Yeah, i used to love this place, would go out of my way for a burger here.Not no more.. I guess all good things come to an end!! I will be contacting dairy queen franchise customer service regarding customers cannot understand the workers because they're all family workers with foreign accents.. No. Good english people working in there no more.. , services & terrible food is terrible and you run that place into...

If I could put zero stars I would.

I went here today (Hamburg) with my husband. We ordered 26$ worth of food. 2 Chicken baskets and two icecreams… The fries were cold, soggy, with no salt. Chicken was average at best.

He ordered a Blue Misty. Which is supposed to have icecream in it. The girl taking our order could hardly speak english, and didn’t understand. We tried to clarify. But we received the wrong drink.

I went inside to correct this mistake, and as the drink melted in my hand, I waited and waited.

Finally the girl asked what I needed. I told her the problem and her response was “I asked if that’s what you wanted, I can re-charge you if you want.”

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! YOU ARE NOT charging my card again for Your mistake. Customer service is dead. This place was dead empty, and I now understand why.

To the owner- your employees are the face of your company. I would be more careful when hiring people who do not understand BASIC customer service. We Will NEVER be back here. Friendly staff and good food. We get ice cream all the time and their cooked food too. I love their Flamethrower Burger and my wife often gets their Chicken Tender Basket. Strawberry Cheesequake Blizzard is the best!

9/2024 update: Ownership changed at this location and we still visit often since it’s the closest drive thru to our house. However food quality isn’t what it used to be. The buttered bread is soft and not toasty like before, fries also are more under done. Drive thru always now takes forever, you always need to pull into a parking spot to wait. Before you would always get your food at the window. Also they’re randomly closed, we’ll drive up for lunch or dinner and have to leave and go elsewhere.
