We worked with Dan Wassung to move our rather big lab collection of perishable items (refrigerated and frozen) and biohazards from one University to another between two states. This team worked under the limitations of a. short notice about the move and b. tight timeline to get the move started. Dan met with our team and we shared information on the various items and plans. He did a virtual walk through and then set about arranging for his team of 4 lead by William Morrison to get the packing and loading started on time. With minimal fuss, they packed 2 large trailers on Monday, June 19 and delivered them to our new location on Tuesday, June 20. The moving team were friendly, professional, polite and efficient. They got everything brought up and put away without issue. Batch 2 involved 3 trucks and all the rest of the equipment (over 100 different items - boxes, cryostorage tanks, freezers etc) that needed to be delivered to 2 different locations in the same city. They took it in their stride and didnt even murmur when they had to navigate very tight passageways to get freezers into their storage location. Not one of the many temperature sensitive equipment lost temperature or failed in the transport to our current spot. They allowed us the use of loaner equipment to tide us over the arrival of newly purchase storage units.
