If I could have given less than one star I would have. I went into this a Aarons on Friday March 12th looking for a laptop. I was starting a job the next Saturday, March 20th, and I wanted to have a laptop ready to go. I went into the store on March 12th and was waited on by Jay and another gentleman. These two were fantastic they were very knowledgeable and very friendly. If I was solely reviewing Jay and this other gentleman, I would give them 10 stars each. But unfortunately, not everyone in the store has the same level of customer service knowledge. Jay had me run my information through their leasing system and make sure what I was available to lease. The other gentleman, he could have been an assistant manager, it seemed he was training Jay. I explained I would not be able to get the laptop until the next Friday, March 19th. Jay and the other gentleman told me to call prior to coming in for the laptop and they will have all the paperwork ready and the laptop ready to go. I called on my way home on Friday March 19th to let them know I was coming to pick up the laptop. Jacob answered the phone, and I let him know I was coming in to pick the laptop up and I was calling them to let them know. Jacob put the call on hold and never came back to the phone. I stopped into the store to pick up the laptop and Jay was there. He greeted me and asked if I was there top get the laptop. I told him yes and he went and pulled the sign and we went to the counter. Jay started getting things together and this woman was sitting in the office she called Jay over and whispered something to him. He got a strange look on his face and headed to get the laptop. She called him back again and again he got a strange look on his face, he came out and told me the laptop had to be delivered. I asked why since I live right behind the store. He said he didn’t know. The woman never did come out and explain why the laptop had to be delivered. She basically hid in the office. Finally, she blessed me with her presence and just repeated it had to be delivered. She was very curt about her answer. I simply stated keep your laptop and left. Aaron’s need to send her back to Customer Service class, she definitely needs a refresher course. Of course, she didn’t have a name tag on so I could see her name. Instead of being nasty she should have explained why it needed to be delivered. With this whole pandemic thing happening, lots of people don’t want strangers at their homes. All of the fabulous reviews must have been prior to this lady being hired or they were on her day off. She needs to learn soft skills and learn how to talk to people. I called the Customer Service Number and I was told the GM would be calling me back with in 24 hours. They never did call me and I am going on 36 hours, I truly didn’t expect a call from the GM, but don’t promise something you have no intention of doing. I will be going somewhere else, Rent A Center and Rent Mart are right up the street and they would be happy to help me. As far as Aaron’s on Dixie Hgwy I will not be going back there. Read moreWe have paid over 24 payments. We signed up for a lease under the impression that we would be paying the same monthly fee every month for 24 months and be done. When we were close to the date to end our lease, we cane and spoke to them in person in December 2024, we were told there was a balance of about $640. We could either pay the balance or we could continue to make the $149 monthly payments. We agreed to continue to pay the fees till June. Fast forward to today, they're saying because we didn't pay the same as 120 days, some unexplained fees were added and we still owe hundreds. We came to clarufy all of this in December 2025. They failed to tell us that. I called corporate and they refused to talk to us. Said they needed to call is back and it would be 24 hours befoe they would call us back. This is not how we do business. That is very deceptive. We have never missed a payment or paid late and the fact that we even came to this location and clarify this and they failed to disclose this information is sickening. Read moreWe bought a new washer, dryer, refrigerator at the same time. The dryer busted ( drum) after a few months, so they took it to be repaired. It’s been over a month we had to call about the dryer it was sitting in the store for days and no one bothered to call us. We got tired of waiting and called them . So they said Monday 11:4:19 at 12pm we got home at lil after 12:00 and asked them could they come back, the manager said no, I asked why because we live right down the road not even a 10 min drive, not to mention you’ve had it for over a month, (our set is grey, they sent a banged up white dryer for a loaner), she refused to send them back, she said tomorrow. So now it is tomorrow 1:21 pm no dryer. We should of been the first ones to be delivered. Oh did I mention we’ve been dealing with Aaron’s for over 27 years.
