Dollar General — Local services in Hammond

This was the filthiest store I have been to in a very long time. Carts with merchandise were in the aisles, items were spilling off of the shelves, and many shelves had little to no merchandise on them at all. I needed to use the facilities, and was sorry I opened the door. The ladies room should have had an out-of-order sign on it. Someone had left large deposits that I can only assume clogged the commode, as the toilet plunger was in the bowl and 'stuff' floated around it. The manager was also the cashier. Outside bugs are always stuck together! I'm 66 retired and handicapped. It took me 20 in check out line because manger was sitting in office playing around. STORE is always half stock can't get around and being handicapped doesn't help! One nice younger w girl was so nice she want out in parking lot to get me a cart!!! She wasn't even on her shift vyet. Don’t know if the old manager Joey got promoted or he quit, hopefully not fired. Since he’s been gone this store has gone way down hill. It’s nasty inside, and nothing is ever stocked anymore.
