Robert Supermarket — Local services in Hammond

Would give no stars at all if I could. This is the second time I was denied my wic at this store. the first time I couldn't use my wic cause they didn't have everything in stock. the second time they said that my fiancée who is my proxy for our child couldn't get the wic milk voucher that I had filled because his name wasn't on the line. His name is on the sticker for the proxy box and the card said that they need to bring id and the blue book and himself on the book itself. He hasn't been to not one of the wic appointments because he works they never told me to have him sign the book and yet at other stores he can fill the voucher just fine by himself. yet this store keeps giving me problems. they are also really high priced and not a great selection. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU DONT...

Stopped in this afternoon to top off my diesel tank. Again all diesel pumps were blocked by non-diesel vehicles of which half were just in the store shopping 😡.

Finally got to a diesel pump and their system wouldn't accept my credit card that has MORE than enough limit. Went inside and customer service was less than helpful.

DON'T inconvenience customers due to location/organization issues. Complete fail!

----- Original Review ----- Got diesel tonight. The price was fair compared to other stations nearby. The dispensers were dirtier than you want to see. I didn't like the $100 credit card limit as that's not sufficient to fill my tank. All-in-all, an acceptable...

Friendly cashier and bag person. The bathroom is in the front of the store. The store is always well stocked and neat. I was very impressed with Robert Supermarket. Decent gas prices, and some good sales. Clean and stocked Supermarket with excellent service. It has a wide selection of groceries and mostly at very competitive gas prices. They seem to keep their gas prices lower than other places in town which is why I believe people will continue to come here. It is worth supporting a local business if you live in the area. It's likely to be the only landmark for anyone passing through highway...
